  4. So, long story short, I have an extra HV differential probe, a Tek P5200. It doesn't require a TekProbe interface, so it would be compatible with most scopes (contact me for more info). I just tested it with my function generator and it works great. Anyone interested in it? If anyone else has a TekProbe interface compatible scope, I have something else that could be available for rent.... ahem, Team Extreme Testing represent!

  14. either a rotary encoder or a traditional pot can be used (or push buttons, or slider, or whatever you'd like), depending on the micro-controller platform and the code employed.
  15. ah well-played. 52mA looks good to me as well, but it's tracking this value back to RMS current before the diode that might be tricky to nail down exactly.
  16. Drove from Mendocino to Santa Rosa using the most circuitous way possible. Loved it.
  17. Doesn't the KGSSHV have a variable output stage bias design?
  18. No, sorry The quoted text was for context! In all reality I think that Justin assessed the situation correctly. You'll likely have to also loosen the components on the L bracket too to get the maximum amount of slop.
  19. Aren't you the guy with the insanely high priced components and looking for trouble rigging up these parts on the board? Why didn't you use the proper material, for you know, the parts that allow a safe operation of the amp? Did you save what, $50?
  20. Jim, I got a secret ingredient that I'm itching to try in your recipe above. First thing, when I get back I'll reveal it!
  21. No pictures of the North Coast Brewing Co., which was awesome. Now chilling with one of these in Mendocino.
  22. Bad idea. Just enlarge the top panel. Much safer.
