  1. Still my number one issue...
  2. Manhattan involving Carpano and Rittenhouse 25.
  3. So, I'm looking for a part recommendation. I used to be able to find a certain brand 0.25" QC female connector that had an insulated outside that I could pull off (usually by putting the female part on a male stud and pulling real quick), then I could solder the wire to the connector (not crimp) then put the outside part back on. These days, none of the ones I've found will allow the outside to be as easily removed. Anyone have a good part they use? Perhaps the better idea is to just heat shrink a bare connector? The connector will be carrying mains voltages, at about 3A.
  4. Gran Classico?
  5. Nice Al! The Chinato can be found around here now, it's not cheap though. It has a very distinct flavor, very nice stuff. Looks like yours is a split though, which is better than the $75/1L here is suppose.
  6. It doesn't have an overly distinct Reposado flavor. It has a more mellow almost fruity flavor? Regardless I'm happy with it
  7. Margarita First impressions of the Espolon are very positive, considering the low price tag.
  8. Went out to buy a $60 bottle of Tequila and came back with a $18 bottle. More at 8.
  9. How does the frequency response sound? Flat? Or a upper mid range and midbass double peak?
  10. any idea if this is ESD damage?
  11. Do you have any that I sold you? I still have a whole mess of these and they all work fine. Anyone interested in paying $10 each? :)
  12. It won't take long. I bet you'll find some once all of these T2 start getting built. I give you until the end of the year.
  13. That just means that V_(BR)DSX is in range. For example, I'd expect an IRF610 to have the same number for this test. Also, there are plenty of other devices as well. Unfortunately, you haven't really established much with this test. If it fails, yeah that's great. If it passes, you still have reasonable doubt.
  14. How are you using the tester? The only way to know for sure is a curve tracer. This tester isn't going to be 100% reliable, it just will weed out the obvious fakes.
  15. That absolutely won't work. You need a custom PCB this case.
  16. ... Another, but with Boker's.
  17. Again, I'm really impressed with the Vintage Bourbon... Quite nice.
  18. A Vintage Bourbon 17 - Carpano Antica - Cherry Bitter Manhattan.
  19. This is the recipe I used: http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=5&ved=0CDEQFjAE&url=http%3A%2F%2Fmarriedwithdinner.com%2F2008%2F06%2F13%2Fdotw-monte-carlo%2F&ei=L9FuTt2dJcngsQKs8Oi3CQ&usg=AFQjCNH1GKF6eKSflheoVDO0jFjp82l-wg&sig2=MiO1OSKoj4bZwBK9NdYBCA
  20. Ah, you have a good memory any other recommendations out there? Otherwise, I'll try the Reposado Jim, have you tried the Casa Noble? It's damn good stuff, no faults here...
  21. So, did some major damage go the tequila tonite. Need to pick up another bottle tomorrow. Cannot get Al's fancy Fortelezza. Has anyone tried Partida Reposado?
  22. Well, HP made an announcement today that we've been planning on for the last 6 months or so, the new HP Enterprise Security Products organization. We'll see how this fares.... http://www.hpenterprisesecurity.com/
  23. Sidecar 1.5 oz Aquavit .75 oz Cointreau .75 oz Meyer Lemon juice Egg white Shake and garnish with a lemon twist
  24. This might be the best bourbon cocktail ever. Monte Carlo (Esquire version, IIRC)
