  1. wait, we have a business model?
  2. That sucks. Thanks for the warning! I have faith that HC will guide me on this one
  3. So, I love my Tri Star. Best bag ever. However, I now need something tar could last more in the 10 day range and would serve international duty as well. Any recommendations from this crowd? Maybe Tumi T-Tech Presidio? I'd like something less than $500 for sure.
  4. Rainbow Cocktail (Savoy) with a Monte Carlo chaser....
  5. Would you consider a DIY speaker? I have a quite nice Jordan - Aurum Cantus two-way for sale. Looking for around $1K for them, parts cost essentially. They would do very well with the Pass, as it has the balls to drive them. If you are curious, I have a bunch of pics I can email you...
  6. Jim/Al: Would you mind trying the Napoleon in a 1:1:1 Margarita with a Reposado/Anjeo Tequila? If it isn't horrible, then I can justify a bottle
  7. I see your Old Pal and raise you a Boulevardier:
  8. I see Colin, well-done. Please post review on the Rye!
  9. Widow's Kiss with G-R Apple Brandy. Loverely.
  10. Birgir, how much current through the plate resistors? I might have something you could use to upgrade these... Any metal around where the resistors are?
  11. Wow, very nice!!
  12. Dinny, you need Benedictine. It doesn't have to be refrigerated.
  13. One of my all time favorites: Despite Shelly hooking me up, running low on Benedictine. Man, love that stuff...
  14. Pretty buzzed. Impresed some business guys by correctly calling absinthe in a cocktail from some Hendricks babes. Win. Now, need a proper drink.
  15. Rye? Rly? And yes, yes, yes on the 17 Bourbon.
  16. Fuu the above with White Dog could be interesting.
  17. Fair. I'd love to find something at any price to give it a run for it's money. For that matter, price no object deathmatch.
  18. My take on a Bourbon Collins 2 oz bourbon 1/2 oz simple syrup 3/4 oz fresh lemon Shake and add to glass with a few ice cubes. Top off with a couple ounces of soda (I used the top of my three part shaker). I think I nailed this one. A bit overkill using the Vintage probably, but it's nice and worth it. It's a light drink, probably would be nice with Apple Jack.
  19. A fine, fine cocktail:
  20. I've always liked the 656. Not too picky, but not looking to spend a lot if I can help it. Small is nice, my Tag is just about the right size.
  21. I'd love to find a deal on a used Sinn. Mike, if you ever get the itch to sell....
  22. Shelly: I read somewhere that the new bottle has changed recipe. Maybe at Ministry of Rum website. I'd be curious to compare.
  23. It is. I have perfected the recipe. I use 2-2.5 oz rum, 1 tsp fine sugar and half a lime, cut into eights. Muddle the limes and sugar, stir, add crushed ice, add rum. Lightly stir and garnish with a lime wheel.
  24. Caipirissima Still my favorite dark rum. Even compared with Goslings and Meyers, the others I've tried. Yummy.
