Yes! You can get away with a 4-pin connector on a headphone, sure.. it's the amplifier I was referring to.

Kevin, perhaps adding a compensation circuit would help? Perhaps there is an impedance peak that a Zobel network could flatten?

PCBs will be here on Tuesday. Chances are, some of you will have them in a week from today. Please, make sure I have your shipping address. If I don't, I'll be unhappy. -
Ship them to me and I'll forward them with your PCBs... Not sure it will save you much though.
