Physics has a way of shocking me at times. 3.5 yards due to a watch.....that's pretty wild. HS

I experienced the not so shock resistant part golfing with my Omega Seamaster years ago. What a dip... HS

LOL. I'm too old to drink anything but good tequila these days. Only drink it on Fridays...blow off steam after long work weeks. Mostly I sip good rum and I'm particularly smitten with my current daily. It's interesting that you point out a one-watch approach. I think that's easier to pull off with a stainless watch, like your GS, and I could see me perhaps getting there with something like the Daytona. I'm trying to be strong and avoid going down the rabbit hole with watches as I tend to do with most things I take a liking to. Very binary I be... HS

That is a good looking chronograph and I like how you paired it with the brown strap. Sinn does not appear to offer that vintage style strap with the holes currently although it may be as simple as a request of them. It appears a bit largish for my wrist but that seems to be the style these days. The souls comment while I'm drinking my coffee on a Saturday morning after sipping my tequila last night...that made me smile! HS

Very cool that you roast your own, tyrion. I have a some good friends at work that are chem-E's....brilliant nuts that were big tea drinkers. I converted them to the dark side and they're roasting their own now and have had some success in my humble opinion. Roasting is an art and choosing, handling, storing and ultimately deciding how and how long to roast beans is one hell of a dance. Good stuff and it's great that we have so many options to choose from these days in the way of roasted whole beans. I would have never guessed that I'd end up going back to a shop out of Tulsa of all places. Used to be a big fan of George Howell Terroir coffees but they went to seed at some point a few years back. They taught me a lot though about what I prefer. HS

RIP, Jake... Heart breaking. RIP, Mssr. Mahoney. Great performances in some of my fav's including Say Anything and Tin Men. RIP, Ms. Naomi. Godspeed you lovely woman. RIP Mr. Barlow... HS

You hit it on the head. Some coffees call for a darker roast and some do not benefit from add'l roasting and a lot of flavor nuances are lost....IMO. Took me a lot of coffee drinking to figure that out as I leaned towards darker roasts for years when I was younger. HS

It took me a while, but I've learned that over roasting is not my thing. That was my only complaint with O.B. Hs

I can’t get enough of the Double Shot’s beans. Currently drinking the Panama Hartmann Natural Lot 5. Lovely coffee. Always rely on my French press. Nothing fancy. HS

For my edification, is the RO a scratch magnet because of the brushed finish or is the stainless a different grade? The RO is quite beautiful. I'd go slightly larger....say 39mm. Three watches that have caught my fancy of late and all quite different: first it was the Drive de Cartier line, then the RO's here, and now I've been noticing the Rolex Daytona's a bit more than I should do... I've concluded the Tag Monaco is simply too large for my wrist unless it is perhaps an older one. I"m a bit over "vintage" for the moment having been working on partially restoring/refreshing motorized toys the last few years. Omegas have long been piqued my interest. HS

this is going to get colorful.... HS

I look forward to seeing what you think of the upgrade, L. Also, turnaround time. Please keep us posted. HS

I really wish you had not done that, ER. I was fancying one seriously last year when I purchased a nice watch for the wifey for our 20th. It was the thicker version available then. I managed to back away... I agree. It's a lovely watch. Not sure about the gray strap but I like both the stainless and gold. HS

RIP Jo Jo and Peter. The sands keep dropping... HS

Find out what shop is the most reputable chassis tuner (ie suspension shop) in your area that does not rape customers. You’re generally looking for old school. Then speak to them about your ride, tires/wheels and how you track the car. Flash the girly pic of the shocks and wait for the magic... HS
