Shame a stick isn't an option. For the money, I would take an Audi RS 6 Avant over the M5 wagon despite higher power numbers with the plug-in electric motor helping. Nice to see the wagon head stateside all the same. HS

lol…you might be correct! The consume on the side for dipping birria style tacos became very popular here a few years back. My favorite in town is Doña Lena….legitimate! HS

A Vietnamese play on birria tacos...these are "pho" style. (had to edit...spellcheck got the better of me) Really could have used a hot sauce like sriracha on the side for some kick, but I did like the dish conceptually. From the Blind Goat here in Houston. Overrated IMHO despite all the foodie pundits... HS

Well, it had to be done. Udon at Ishin...so good. They do a lot of fusion style Udon and this one is brisket and.....ginger. I only need so much ginger in my life so I ask for it on the side. If in Houston, Ishin Udon and the Tan Tan bowl there is amazing if you like spicy and are good with pork. HS

I need some Asian in my life after seeing those dumplings...yummy chow! I just opened myself up for a doozy...LOL. It's a bit of a poop show here in that there's construction in Asia Town (often referred to as China Town but it's grown well beyond that). Just down the road from me but horrific traffic...I need to hit the back roads for some spicy Udon or some Ramen... Grahame has yet again left me peckish... HS

I've got a few AWD vehicles outside of an old Land Cruiser...I'm a fan. One is a stick car and the other two overpowered SUV's. Love it. HS

The motor is impressive. A lot of things there are. I know this would have added A LOT of complexity, but....AWD. Most likely would have been a hybrid setup but boy oh boy the probability of putting all that mojo to work at the tire would have been something. Sounds like a fun next model... HS

We had a new restaurant / bar open we have been awaiting, Bar Bludorn. Enjoyed a nice meal Friday night with our son and his girlfriend. Drinks were very good. Love that I didn't have to ask someone to use less can sugar in the old fashioneds. The ham beignets with ricotta and a berry jelly or the like were standout. Wagu smoked brisket rueben also wonderful. The duck was very good but I think the PB&J fried chicken was more interesting. HS

Great attitude, TMoney. Racing is hard on parts and pricey, but what a hoot. Good to go in open eyed and go with the flow. You have a SUPER vehicle for track days and urban assault...fun! I have only raced automatics when I have had little to no choice (i.e. broke what was available or didn't come with auto). Me tracking the SUV straight-line...well, that's just a brain fart on my part but what joy. HS

I can offer that the PDK is the finest automatic I've driven. I said that about Audi's years ago, but I'd argue Porsche's is better. The car would be faster for it. It's just that I need (read: want) some analog in my life... HS

I read the headline on an article indicating this Aston was built for Alonso. Didn't read it through so it might have just been a hook. LOVE that it's a stick car. I was finally "given" an allocation for a 2025 911. Almost fell over when I was told no manual transmission for the 911, 911S or GTS (big hybrid release so that makes sense on the GTS). What a dip... Took me buying the wife a Macan S to "earn" the allocation. I'm guessing they'll be back within a year, but we'll see.... Looks like I'll be hanging onto the 2007 for a while longer....first world problems. HS
