  1. Think of it as a layer of glue, not as a solder dome like with through hole. And don't worry, electrons will flow!
  2. Ouch, what a state of the art chassis! Lamborghini-class, congrats!
  3. We cannot see the clearance between those legs, a bit scary to me. And the goop spills + low-ish distance between the bare metal tabs and the heatsink... People had magic smoke for less than that. Anyways, congrats for a newborn T2!
  4. Install that reg remotely on the side of the case?
  5. Thank you Shawn. Many words of wisdom and common sense. And quite badass to have CNC and laser etching machines at home 😀
  6. Wow have I ever told you that you are a bold man, Joachim? Impressive, again!
  7. What is it for? I have seen a similar but smaller stup a while ago, it was a local power backup for wired home telephone.
  8. March madness, redux. Was the original March madness in 2013?
  9. Yes, interested in learning your experience here
  10. jokerman777, could you remind me/us which PCB version/origin you use?
  11. Great adventure! I wish I had the time, skills, parts... well, the whole thing 😅
  12. Pretty nice Dremel skills, by the way 😂
  13. Sweet piece, for sure...
  14. Made the same mistake long ago, in this precise place. I had to add a small toroid because I ordered the wrong secondaries in my custom toroid. It's 30 VCT,or 2*15 V Just replace those 2 caps along with the V regs, and you're back on track
  15. Wow, what a cascade of horrors!
  16. Thanks for maintaining the house afloat!
  17. Reminds me good memories!
  18. Great job. Looking forward to the other mods!
  19. Beautiful! Listen to it, and post some more pics
  20. This one might give you guys a good laugh. I don't own a heat gun, so poor man's way... That being said, it gives a warm and smokey sound
  21. Mine are here too, thanks!
  22. It's just insane to see how many iterations of alternative batteries you and Kerry produced!
  23. Thank you for your time Michael. This GB is hot!
