CES 2013 Announcements
As a southpaw (left-handed), who enjoys many ambidextrous and left-handed tools, etc., I have never felt the need for an ambidextrous or left-handed camera. Canon is definitely a leading thought leader.

Cookware - questions, comments and information about cookware
I'm looking to replace my PTFE (i.e. Teflon) non-stick fry/sautee pan and my abused (by houseguests) fry/sautee pans with an inexpensive set on non-sticks. My requirements are: Non-PFTE non-stick OK to put in oven and broiler (up to 450 degrees or so) Less that $100 for 2. I'm willing to go over $100 if you can convince me. Here are some examples of what I'm looking at: All-Clad B3 2 Piece Fry set Calphalon Contemporary Non-Stick 10" and 12" Omelette Pans Calphalon Unison Non-Stick 10" and 12" Omelette Pans I've found all of these at Bed, Bath and Beyond. I like shopping there as I have a -20% coupon. I'm not tied to BBB. I'm leaning to the All-Clad as I know that Jacob really likes All-Clad products. But I am still undecided and would love to hear your recommendations.

Right now they are having a Christmas sale of 60% off.- At what point will it be reasonable to arm our teachers to protect students?
Everything I've read indicates that his mother was doing exactly as you suggest. Now what?- And now what did you do TODAY?
Gene, you forgot to mention how much they also like shovels. Good luck Jacob. I think that the only luck you'll need is getting the letters of recommendation in on time.- At what point will it be reasonable to arm our teachers to protect students?
I'll let Dusty answer for himself, Steve. But my reading of what he wrote is that he is using the imposition of no gay marriage as one of those things he doesn't like. So I think that you two are in agreement here.- Long Layover in O'Hare on 12/14....any suggestions on shit to do?
^This. Have a great Christmas in the Pacific, Raffy. Everybody else have a great holiday season or just great days, as appropriate.- Watches
Me too. I'd much rather have a Seamaster than a similar Rolex.- At what point will it be reasonable to arm our teachers to protect students?
@Ryan - Of course we don't want to arm teachers and other private citizens in the hope that it will reduce or end these kinds of shootings. I shudder to think how untrained (or poorly trained) armed people would react in such a situation. Take for example the "Batman" movie theater shooting. If everybody in the theater would have been armed, I suspect that many more people would have died due to the panicked movie goers wildly shooting in an attempt to defend themselves. IMO, one of the biggest, if not the biggest reasons we have more gun violence than other first and second world countries is that we have a "gun culture". It's culturally drummed into our heads from an early age that using guns are a good way to solve problems. Our movies reflect it. Our computer games reflect it. Our literature reflect it. Our foreign policy often reflects it. Unfortunately the reality of using guns to solve problems rarely matches our cultural beliefs. Until we can change this gun culture, we will continue have gun violence incidents. - Happy Birthday bhjazz
