  1. Time to write to your credit card company why you are not paying that part of the bill. Then they'll do a charge back and you'll be happy. You did use a credit card to pay for this, right?
  2. Sounds interesting, Justin. When does yours come out?
  3. Plus the guy in the beer shirt was probably a pencil-necked hipster.

    CHESS

Not me. I discovered in college what a mediocre play I was. During the 5 hour trip up to Mammoth for skiing, I would play with a friend who was an Expert (one rank below Master, I believe). To make things "fair", he wasn't allowed to look at the board. I never won a game.
  7. Good luck with the sale, Nate. I hope that bicycle tire kickers are more reasonable than headphone tire kickers.
  8. Condolences, Iain. It's so hard to lose beloved pets. It looks like he had a wonderful life with you.
  9. Happy Birthday, Gene! :prettyprincess: Wishing you smooth sailing in the upcoming year.
  10. Happy Birthday, Haj! :prettyprincess:
  11. Happy Birthday, Bryan! :prettyprincess: Hope it's been a great one.
  12. Yes, Doug is.

  15. Sorry to hear this news, Iain. Try to enjoy every second of time that you have remaining with him.
  16. Happy Birthday, Jason. :prettyprincess:
  17. Happy Birthday to you both! :prettyprincess: :prettyprincess:
  18. Glad that it was a minor incident in the end. Also very glad that nobody was injured. Now you get the fun of obtaining a new car.
  19. Mmm, the Tarte aux Fruits looks yummy.
  20. Happy Birthday, John! :prettyprincess: Wishing you a great one with many refreshments.
  21. Glad you guys had such a good time. It was nice "being there" by following this thread.
  22. Happy Birthday, Alex! :prettyprincess:
  23. "Your family must have been evil. God punished it by giving it a bad gene."
  24. Sorry for the problem, Crappy. I have several suggestions: 1. Don't take your car to a department store for maintenance. I suspect that you've already figured that out. 2. File a grievance with the local BBB. 3. Find a local TV or radio news department that does consumer protection stories and tell them about it. 4. Write a letter to the CEO of Sears describing the issue and how disappointed you are. Mention that won't shop at Sears again and that you'll tell everybody you know about the problem and recommend they don't either. 5. As a final resort, file in Small Claims Court.
