Sorry for the problem, Crappy. I have several suggestions:
1. Don't take your car to a department store for maintenance. I suspect that you've already figured that out.
2. File a grievance with the local BBB.
3. Find a local TV or radio news department that does consumer protection stories and tell them about it.
4. Write a letter to the CEO of Sears describing the issue and how disappointed you are. Mention that won't shop at Sears again and that you'll tell everybody you know about the problem and recommend they don't either.
5. As a final resort, file in Small Claims Court.
I can't get it close to five. Here are 6 that immediately jumped out at me:
Ry Cooder - Buena Vista Social Club
Molly Mason & Jay Ungar - The Lover's Waltz (Duet)
LA Four - Going Home East Winds Direct to Disk Japan
Bill Berry - For Duke/Earl Fatha Hines - Plays Hits He Missed - Both on one M&K Real Time CD
Bill Frisell - Gone Like a Train
Paul Simon - Graceland
I could easily add more and can't remove any of these.
No, a really bad time if you don't take preventative measures. These include the intake of lots of fiber (including fiber supplements if necessary, prunes, lots of liquids, no juices, no caffeine, etc.
Jeffy, how to you like this combination in comparison with the DSHA-1 that you have? What are the differences? I'm mostly interested when you are listening to HD-800.
I thought I saw $1K somewhere. Maybe it was 1K Euros.
Also, I was joking about the sound quality, having never heard them. I'll be interested in hearing what you think, Tyll.
Doug, did either you or ATT use sniffer software to examine the exchanges to and from the TV? It would be interesting to see if the TV just wasn't sending or responding, or if there was an application error.
