  1. It's the stock saddle on a new bike, so it's very possible that it doesn't fit well. Of course, it's just as possible that my old butt just isn't used to riding a bicycle. I'll use the linked video guide to see if mine is too narrow. Thanks for the tip.
  2. Less expensive than renting.
  3. Happy Birthday. :prettyprincess: Enjoy!
  4. Happy Birthday, Jacob. :prettyprincess: Have a great one!
  5. I'd say really good!
  6. @Brent. I have a pair of Pearl Izumi riding shorts that I typically where when riding motorcycles, especially in the dirt. I couldn't find them for the ride. I was finally able to locate them today and will wear them for tomorrow's ride. @Jose. Enjoy your rides and good luck with the April ride and your eventual assault on the pass.
  7. Happy Birthday, Chris! :prettyprincess: Don't forget to spin up LA 4 "Going Home".
  8. Jose, are you working up to an around-the-island ride? I just finished my first bicycle ride in years. I'm starting out slowly and maybe went 1.5 mi today. The seat started hurting right away. Hopefully my butt will get used to this kind of abuse. You can see a picture of my new bike
  9. Happy Birthday, Steve! :prettyprincess: Hope it's a great one. You, Greg and I need to do lunch again soon.
  10. Drove back from Hemet, CA where I spent Christmas with my sister, brother, his wife, his daughter and her fiance. It was a great time.
  11. Thanks everybody. I had a nice, but quiet day. Well, it was as quiet as it could be having 4 parrots. I made myself a nice ribeye dinner and drank some nice Pinot. I hope that you all are having a nice Xmas day. May peace find you during the holidays.
  12. I thought that you did.
  13. I wholly agree with John and would like to subscribe to your newsletter. Breakfast of Champions, indeed. The mystery crab cakes (I think) look wonderful too.
  14. Happy Birthday, Ric. :prettyprincess: Enjoy today and your trip in Cuyahoga land!
  15. Ribeye steak with grilled potato and veggies, washed down with Kosta Browne Sonoma Coast. Sorry, I was too hungry to stop and take a picture.
  16. Looks like an account has been hacked.
  17. Agreed, great picture. Glad you and your family had a great time.
  18. That's all good news! Happy holidays, Jacob.
  19. This. For me, IEMs are for times when I want to shut the world out. The most important of these is air travel. Edit: Looking at the Innerfidelity Hall of Fame shows that there is a competitor to the JH-13 at the $1K price point. I haven't heard them so this is just another data point for you, not a recommendation. Tyll wrote:
  20. Sorry about your crash, Chris. Glad that it's minor soft tissue damage.
  21. Goodbye Joe. RIP.
  22. Aren't bonuses nice?
  23. Happy Birthday! :prettyprincess:
  24. It's either the world's largest carrot or next to it is the world's smallest steak.
