NorCal Summer Meet 6/28/2008
Kind of? I was dragging all day Saturday and then collapsed in my bed at 8 pm, missing the live concert. I slept almost straight through until 9 am. I really needed the sleep. I'll rest up better for this meet. What are we doing Saturday night?

NorCal Summer Meet 6/28/2008
Great! Somehow I missed hearing this amp at CanJam. I'd love a chance to rectify that mistake.

Post the last thing you bought!
Electric RC helicopter for my Dad. You can find more info about it here. He's 89 years old. I got him a cheapo helicopter for his birthday to see how he would handle it. He did great, so I "upgraded" him for Father's Day! This will be more challenging.

got a new power line conditioner
I can't help but note the model number. Is the "BS" an accident or not? \

Raptor Tube Rolling Recommendations Please!
Probably not looking at all. I'm guessing that it's just a continuation of the trolling.

Raptor Tube Rolling Recommendations Please!
Maybe he'll get a clue about the multi-quote button too. However getting clues doesn't seem to be his strong point.

Ooh, that hurts.

Yes, why should you do any work when we are all here to spoon feed you? Too bad you parents didn't seem to give you any etiquette lessons. Asshat alert.

Read through the forums and you'll discover for yourself. That's always a good thing to do before posting.

Global economics 101...Little Dot mk VI
Not having a balanced amp is no reason to not be able to listen to balanced headphones. All one has to do is get or build an XLR to 1/4" (or 1/8") adapter. That's what I use to listen to my pair of balanced HP2's being driven by an SP Extreme.

Raptor Tube Rolling Recommendations Please!
I'm afraid that the Raptor is not a well liked amp on this forum. In fact, it is often referred to as the cRaptor. So you'll probably not get an answer to your question, if there is a good answer. Sorry.

comfort issues with k340
I guess that I'm just lucky. I can wear my K340s for hours with no problems. They aren't really comfy, but cause no comfort problems for me.

My name is guzziguy and I approve of this message! Really sorry to hear this. He's one of the few political journalists that I respect.

Denon AH-D2000--big disappointment.
So they are a little better than R5's now, right?

bush impeachment
Mark Twain had a healthy dislike of politicians. What he said was "American has no criminal class excepting, of course, Congress!" Some things never change.

bush impeachment
You posted these two sentiments in two consecutive posts. In the first, you are saying that you aren't interested in "listening" (even with the smiley). In the second, you complain about people that won't listen to you. Shouldn't the listening go both ways? I don't think that it's hatred so much as each side being so sure that they are correct that they immediately discount the ideas of the other side. Bush used to be so sure that he was correct, that when people didn't agree, he would repeat it assuming that they didn't understand. They understood, just didn't agree. Both sides have this problem big time.
