Post the last thing you bought!
Sounds like a tip over. If you go down on any modern faired bike, it will be a lot more than this unless one is then going to go the "street fighter" route. Don't worry Jay, everyone has done this. It's the main reason that I recommend people buy an inexpensive, naked bike as their first bike. I recently bought the ridiculous and sublime, both from Vince Vaughn. The sublime is a jewel-like 6" mini to mini cable. The ridiculous is a 50', 1/4" headphone extension cable so I can listen to my main setup when sitting in the den. It, of course, is extremely well built and I don't notice any reduction in SQ. Edit: Jay's post came in while I was composing this one. Jay, there's no need to warm up modern motorcycles. It's just a waste of gas. Also, now you see why it's recommended to not leave a running bike unattended. There are lots of things that can go wrong. Lastly, with many inline 4 cylinder bikes, it's not a good idea to run them while on the side stand. The high cylinder can suffer from oil starvation. Of course, this depends on the bike and engine.

What are you reading now?
I see your problem. It's a little known fact that the person writing the second amendment was a little dyslexic. It was late and he was tired. It was supposed to read: "The right to keep and arm bears". But it got screwed up and here we are.

Migration News
Just noticed the IM icons in the upper right corner of your message. It looks like AIM is holding up Yahoo. Maybe AIM was hired by Microsoft?

The garbage truck was loaded over the legal limit and, due to previous vehicle violations, could not legally enter NYC. The bus was illegally parked. The legal wrangling over this will get very interesting.

Post the last thing you bought!
Please do. I'll probably need the chuckle. Ah, did the Kosta Browne just ship? Edit: Nope, I see they shipped on Mayday. Must be something else exciting.

So what did you buy? A couple of cases of Petrus?

Which beer to get?
Yep. Unfortunately, Russian River Brewery doesn't ship their beer down this far south yet. So no Pliney the Elder. The good news is that they plan on doing it soon, so I have hope! "I'll just have to choke it down".

Which beer to get?
They also had the Trois-Pistoles and the Fin du Monde. I didn't get either of those because it's been really hot here recently and I thought that the Maudite would be the best of the three as a hot weather beer. I'm willing to hear other opinions though.

Which beer to get?
I just came back from buying beer. I didn't go too wild as my wife doesn't like beer so we mostly drink wine. The beers were already picked over and there wasn't much of what people recommended. All the beer was 1/2 off. I got: 6 Hoegaarden $4.75 6 Rogue Dead Guy (microbrew from OH) $4.75 4 Duvel Belgian Golden Ale $6.50 4 Unibroue Maudite (no 16) $6.00 So with CRV and tax, the grand total was $24.18 for these beers. I may buy another 6 pack of Hoegaarden tomorrow.

New O2 + KGSS Rig
You can't lose here. Worst case is that it doesn't float your boat. If so, you can always sell it, probably for more than you paid. Risk free, except if you like it that is!

NorCal Summer Meet 6/28/2008
I thought of that and looked for "Will" in the attendee list. He wasn't there so I thought that she was just being emphatic! Maybe she'll invite a "Will" now.

Two wills! She must really mean it.

Which beer to get?
I'll pass this on to my wife. If this is such a good deal, then I'm sure that you bought several cases at your club price? :o

Which beer to get?
Even worse, we joined Foley's wine club yesterday. Their wine is fairly good now and can't wait to see what Kris does with it in the next couple of years. One good thing about the club membership is that it also allows us to taste for free at other Foley-owned wineries (Lincourt, Firestone and another that I can't remember). Longoria won't be unhappy. I bought 6 bottles of the 2005 Fe Ciega two weeks ago. The 2006 is excellent too. Another thing. Stacy and I found a wine bar/store in Solvang where one can buy 2005 Wedell Hillside Reserve. The best thing is that the price is only $135/btl.

Which beer to get?
I have the same problem as JP. I'd buy the beer for the meet, but then you'd never know how much would actually arrive come meet time. Every time I see this name, an entirely different picture pops into my mind. Bad Ken!

Which beer to get?
You notice I didn't post the name of the store. At these prices, JP might drive down and buy it all!

Which beer to get?
A local wine store that opened a couple of months ago is exit the beer part of their business. Here is a snippet from a recent email: I don't know Belgian beers at all. Please recommend some things I should look out for. Thanks in advance for your recommendations.

Dipped my toes into speakers...I like
That's my view on the K1000. It's a "speaker" for people that live in apartments, condos or otherwise can't play a regular speaker system. The K1000 gives a lot of the speaker experience without disturbing neighbors, family members, etc.

Get both setups. Listen to them and report back. Then sell the lesser setup.
