  1. LFF's recent Frank Sinatra and American Pie remasters.
  2. Normally I'd recommend that you save or invest it. However, if you are riding a motorcycle without boots, then I highly suggest spending it on good boots. Here's a story. In the early 90's, I had a crash where I shattered my right scapula. It healed nicely but it will never be as strong as it was and it always hurts a little. Most of the time I don't even notice, only when I really use that arm. Then I started thinking about what would happen if I really damaged a foot. I always use it. So I bought a pair of Daytona Security boots. They only cost $600 in the early 90's. I'm still using those boots so I've already gotten my money's worth. So get boots and any other protective gear that you are lacking. Some day you'll be really glad you did.
  3. Happy Birthday!
  4. The show was pretty good. These guys just don't have the energy of other acts I seen in the last three years, but they are really old in dog years. Stephen Stills voice has really diminished, but he can still rock on a guitar. They finished with a rocking rendition of Wooden Ships, my favorite CS&N song. All in all it was very enjoyable to hear some of the songs of my youth. They are in town next week, and Stacy and I are going. Maybe Dan will approve of this choice.
  5. Heading out to hear Crosby, Stills and Nash in about 30 minutes.

Larry had nothing to do with this championship. Shouldn't you really post a picture of Kevin McHale if you are going to post old-time Celtics?
  7. Hopefully he will want to celebrate. But heck, we can celebrate his birthday without him!
  8. Nobody has said anything and you're already protesting. Hmmm. Wait, I'd better be nice until my cable arrives. Just forget that I posted.
  9. I didn't know it was Justin's birthday. So he'll finally be old enough to drink! I was only going to stay one night to economize but I can't miss this party. So I'll come up on Friday and attend the festivities.
  10. Kind of? I was dragging all day Saturday and then collapsed in my bed at 8 pm, missing the live concert. I slept almost straight through until 9 am. I really needed the sleep. I'll rest up better for this meet. What are we doing Saturday night?
  11. Great! Somehow I missed hearing this amp at CanJam. I'd love a chance to rectify that mistake.
  12. Electric RC helicopter for my Dad. You can find more info about it here. He's 89 years old. I got him a cheapo helicopter for his birthday to see how he would handle it. He did great, so I "upgraded" him for Father's Day! This will be more challenging.
  13. I can't help but note the model number. Is the "BS" an accident or not? \
  14. I'm sure that Steve could fix you up with a nice combination speaker stand and diaper holder.
  15. Happy Father's Day to all.
  16. Probably not looking at all. I'm guessing that it's just a continuation of the trolling.
  17. Maybe he'll get a clue about the multi-quote button too. However getting clues doesn't seem to be his strong point.
  18. Yes, why should you do any work when we are all here to spoon feed you? Too bad you parents didn't seem to give you any etiquette lessons. Asshat alert.
  19. Read through the forums and you'll discover for yourself. That's always a good thing to do before posting.
  20. Not having a balanced amp is no reason to not be able to listen to balanced headphones. All one has to do is get or build an XLR to 1/4" (or 1/8") adapter. That's what I use to listen to my pair of balanced HP2's being driven by an SP Extreme.
  21. I'm afraid that the Raptor is not a well liked amp on this forum. In fact, it is often referred to as the cRaptor. So you'll probably not get an answer to your question, if there is a good answer. Sorry.
  22. I guess that I'm just lucky. I can wear my K340s for hours with no problems. They aren't really comfy, but cause no comfort problems for me.
