  1. Yes, if you come to the next National Meet in LA. I'm sure we can have an appropriate welcome gift for you.
  2. Stacy and I did a $400+ shopping spree at the Beverage Warehouse in LA yesterday. Highlights are: btl of Black Maple Hill Rye 23 yr old. 8 btls of Russian River Brewing Co. "Pliny the Elder" 3 Lucid Absinthe sets with glasses. 2 are for friends, 1 for me.
  3. Air Combat: P47 vs FW190
  4. Very nice Steve. So nice in fact that I suggested to Mike that he ply you with nice alcohol to get you to build him a custom tt. Don't give in easily.
  5. Only in America youngster! Happy Birthday to the both of you.
  6. Peter and Steve will be there. I'm sure that there will be plenty of pictures.
  7. I'm bringing a spare source for Frank Cooter to use. I have some spare interconnects, but could not find a spare IEC power cord. Could somebody please bring a spare? See you later this morning.
  8. I hope that this doesn't surprise you, Al. Happy Birthday Nenso.

  10. Everybody loves Polka!
  11. Happy Birthday Peter. See you tomorrow.
  12. You guys would be better off asking Vinny of Red Wine Audio. He's the technical guy here and probably could give a technical answer.
  13. Sears General Purpose Hand Riveter
  14. Is that all? I was expecting a large turnout.
  15. Will he get there before 4, for once?
  16. Matt modded my Eastsound E5. He did very nice work. You can see it here and yes, that's my E5 in the picture. The sound was definitely improved. I got my eXemplar Denon 2900 at the same time. The work in it was not as nice as things get really crowded in the chassis. After comparing the two, for me it wasn't close. The eXemplar trounced the modded E5. Since I listen to headphones a lot more than to speakers these days, I've kept the eXemplar in my headphone setup and the E5 is going into my speaker setup.
  17. Yes, I'm referring to the nut that ties the handlebars to the saddle. IMO, I need to ride as if I'm invisible, because I basically am. I rarely have trouble with assholes and only one person in 18 years of riding has purposely moved into where I was. But as you say, people often just don't register motorcycles in their vision. It's even worse for bicyclists. Instead of getting a cruiser, which is not that maneuverable in traffic and in urban situations, why don't consider a dual sport kind of bike. My around town ride now is a Suzuki DRZ400S with homemade bags. Actually the bags were made by John Chase of Chase and Harper fame, so they are very nice homemade bags. I'll post a picture tomorrow. This is the perfect around town bike. It's easy to ride, keeps up with traffic and gets 60 mpg. Being a dual sport bike, it soaks up huge bumps. It also has a nice, upright seating position. The only problem is that the seat is not comfortable for long term use, but that is easily fixable.
  18. If Manny signs with your team next season, I suspect we'll hear a different tune.
  19. Not me. Do you know what causes the majority of motorcycle crashes? It's the nut holding the handlebars.

We are trying to avoid statins. He put me on Tricor, but it made me feel bad, probably due to drinking alcohol. Since I'm not giving up my wine, whiskey, etc., I gave up the Tricor. I also was taking 2gms/day of fish oil. The fish oil didn't help at all. Now I'm on niacin and 4gms/day. We'll see if that helps. I'm not too worried about it. I had heart attack symptoms in March and went to the emergency room. Among other things, they took pre- and post-stress test real-time pictures of my heart using a radioactive dye. It didn't show any problems with my heart at all. I was eventually diagnosed with "non-cardiac chest pains". They decided that it was probably heart burn.
  21. Happy 29th Birthday Vicki! Have a great one! :prettyprincess:

Mine was 115/70 at my last checkup. Unfortunately my LDL was 420 and it needs to be less than 200. So much for exercise lowering my LDL. It hasn't budged. At least I'm in decent shape now.
  23. Since it's not painted Dodger Blue, we have a good chance of getting objective impressions.
  24. Maybe he preferred to spend some time in San Francisco/Marin rather that at LAX. Why don't you request the Jades? Does Head Direct sell a stat amp to go with them?
