  1. I find it hard to believe that Grado would change the engraving because Les complained, or because of the complaining on HF started by Les' "blurry" post. But even if Grado did decide to change it for that reason, the fault still lies with them for making the decision to change it, and then not ensuring that it was done correctly. Les' complaining about the original may be annoying, but he deserves no blame for the engraving problem.
  2. I think that this might get more people.
  3. I have #15. For once it paid to volunteer for something. Todd didn't pass out the ones he had at CJ in the order people that people ordered them. He first gave them out to people involved with creating and running CanJams past and present. I was a volunteer worker. That's why I got mine at CJ. How many he had left to deliver after that I don't know. So you may or may not have gotten yours, even if you were at CJ.
  4. I'm a huge Neil fan. But I can't see why anybody would have a problem with the Junkies cover of Powderfinger. I like both versions and feel zero need to choose one over another.
  5. Talking about ear buds, you can put together this very nice system: G-Lite > Pico Dac > Yuin PK1 This would beat many, many headphone based systems. Of course Boomana's is a great approach if you insist on headphones: G-Lite > Pico Dac > Grado HF2 If you must base your system around the K701, you'll have to spend enough money to get a good amp that can give them the current and voltage they need to sound their best.

  7. Since nobody else is showing you respect, I guess I won't either. Happy Birthday Mike! :prettyprincess:
  8. We didn't miss it. We felt sorry for the old guy and kept quiet out of respect.
  9. This one just had to be fixed. This thread alone has lowered HCs S/N 10 percentage points. I would expect a thread like this to be elsewhere, not here. Too bad.
  10. Most of us, probably. I suspect that he got much more of an answer than he expected. Now he either has to be quiet or be very technically savvy in a response. I predict that the former will be the case, but I've been known to be wrong from time to time.
  11. You guys should shop here.
  12. Happy Birthday Birgir. Have a great one. :prettyprincess: Please post pictures of the cake.
  13. Are you sure that we can trust them with it? Happy 4th everybody.
  14. OK, back on track then. Why don't you take your sister with you to the meet? What's the matter, doesn't she like whisk(e)y?
  15. My condolences to you and your family, CJ.
  16. Happy Birthday!
  17. Heh! You want all DACs.
  18. I talked about radioactive treatment for our cat with our vet. She said that she often sees kidney problems later in cats that get it. This is hardly scientific, but we decided not to go that direction. If our cat were younger, we would have explored that option more carefully.
  19. I think looking around for a new vet sounds like a smart idea. He/she doesn't seem to be up on modern veterinarian products. Also, I forgot this in my last post. My sister uses this method to give her cat pills.
  20. “Times have changed. / Our kids are getting worse. / They don't obey their parents. / They just want to fart and curse. / Should we blame the government / or blame society? / Or we should we blame the images on TV? / Hell, no. / Blame Canada. / Blame Canada. / With all their hockey hullabaloo / and that bitch Anne Murray Beefy, too. / Blame Canada. / Blame Canada!"
  21. I'm truly sorry about your loss and sorry to have caused more pain. I thought about not posting it but decided that you needed to know about this form of medication. You might want to ask your vet about it. You might want to check out other vets if you have other pets or get another in the future.
  22. I understand. Our cat is the same way. The tapazole we have is in cream form. You put a dose from a syringe on your finger and then rub it inside the ear, where there is little hair. We have to dose him twice a day, but it's become like petting him and he doesn't fight it now.
  23. I'm sorry about that. It's always so hard to lose one's pets. Couldn't her hyperthyroid be controlled with Tapazole? Our oldest cat also has hyperthroidism but is doing well on Tapazole. We've stabilized his weight and, apparently, his metabolism.
  24. Happy K-B Birthday, Greg! :prettyprincess:
  25. Happy Birthday CJ.
