Happy Birthday Todd. :prettyprincess: Thanks for everything.

What did you do today?
A bottle jack is very cheap and works just fine for removing/installing wheels. Of course, you'll have to take the plastic off. It's one reason I don't have any fully-faired biked.

Post the last thing you bought!
If you bought from SingleFlower, it's going to take much longer than whatever they said it would take, if they ever ship at all.

Playing High Resolution Audio Files Through a Mac?
I was tempted to say that $600 will buy a couple or three of bottles of good whisk(e)y.

Uh oh. It looks like it's going to be yet another week without a B22 and even fuzzier pictures for you.

That alone made your trip to CanJam worth it. I think that the original has much nicer etching.

1 am 1n total agreement w1th you. I really like my HF2 and prefer them to any current John Grado headphone. They hold their own against the HP1000 and PS1 too.

Another One Bites The Dust: SDS-DOA
I just had the amp idling (i.e. no music) for 1 hour. The transformer cover is absolutely cool to the touch. Do I need to redo the test with music playing?

If Mikhail turned up shot, there wouldn't be enough policemen in the country to check out all the potential suspects.

Another One Bites The Dust: SDS-DOA
I'll check the temperature tonight. With the Platinum Extremes, there is no 4"x4" box. Instead, there is a round transformer cover (probably part of the transformer itself) that has a height of 3.5" and a diameter of 6". You've actually seen pictures of the internals before as I've posted them here. However, here they are again: http://s128.photobucket.com/albums/p197/kmueller13/P1010169.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p197/kmueller13/P1010171.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p197/kmueller13/P1010172.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p197/kmueller13/P1010174.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p197/kmueller13/P1010176.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p197/kmueller13/P1010178.jpg The issue with D5 is known. I'm hoping that it's due to me running 6528 tubes for a short period of time. It hasn't gotten any worse since I stopped. Of course, Mikhail ok'ed running those tubes for up to 3 hours at a time. D5 will be replaced soon. Edit: Oh yeah, while I can't see much of the transformer including a model number, I can see that Plitron's web addy on it.

What does WTF mean in this case
Naaman said it much better.

HD800? Another rumor?
Headroom sells a balanced HD800. You might want to see if they'll sell just the cable. It would be a lot less than other custom cables.

Another One Bites The Dust: SDS-DOA
I had him rebuild my ppx3 into an extreme. Mine is the platinum version with the plitron transformer. Do you have any idea of what plitron Mikhail used and whether it is underpowered too?

HD800? Another rumor?
He definitely is what he is.

HD800? Another rumor?
The real problem is that ipodpj is an ipodpj fanboy.

I'm surprised that nobody has suggested the obvious solution. All one of the respected amp builders has to do is suggest that she build tube amps. Then the problem will take care of itself.- Ergonomic mouse similar to Logitech Nano V450?
There's a setting for all kinds of shit. I just slowed it down to 1200 DPI. I'm much happier with it at this speed. - usb amp dac special
