  1. Sorry to hear about your injury, Al. I hope that it just turns out to be a bad sprain/strain. In the meantime, lots of advil and ice. See you in a couple of days. If you need help getting your gear to and from the meet, let me know and we'll help you out.
  2. Pretty strong words from someone who backed out of going at the last minute.
  3. Nope, just trying to age somewhat gracefully. I hate exercise and by paying for a PT, I'm forced to go do it. 4. 1 10 x 10 Did they give you a red stapler too?
  5. Another 3 months with a personal trainer.
  6. Maybe you could sell them to SARN for use as cases?
  7. Matt, you'll see lots of familiar faces so don't worry about that. Stacy and I will be checking into the hotel early Friday evening (depending on traffic from SJ. If anybody wants to meet up, let me know via PM. I'm hoping that there will be some group social events on Friday and/or Saturday evenings.
  8. Happy Birthday Pete! :prettyprincess:
  9. It's probably due to my boyish good looks. Sorry if I used a term he uses. He's on my ignore list and I don't read his posts.
  10. It looks to be nicely built. The power supply is on standoffs and the IEC ground is connected to the chassis.
  11. Beatles - White Album
  12. Early Friday morning at CanJam, I listened to balanced HD800s from HeadRoom's BUDA stack. At that point in time, I wasn't sure if I was going to keep my HD800 order or cancel it. I listened to it for about 1/2 hour while Tyll and the Sennheiser guys unpacked. I can say that a balanced HD800 and BUDA is a world-class combination. After that 1/2 hour, I knew I was going to keep my order (and did). I haven't had the pleasure of doing the same listening with a GS-X. From every thing I've heard and read, that is also a world-class combination. In my mind, this is reverse Hobson's choice. You can't make a wrong decision.

Watson is a huge name in biology. Of course, that doesn't necessarily correlate with authoring an excellent text.

They look live DB v5s. Or would that be V6?
  16. I suspect it was his smart ass response to Deepak that got him the ban, not his original post. That one definitely merited a time out to reread the Welcome PM.
  17. I prefer a rectangular acre. Much easier to deal with room treatment.
  18. I thought his post was somewhat rude. Who cares how somebody uses apostrophes? To use the registration PM analogy, it's like going into somebody's house and then proceeding to tell them what they are doing wrong in keeping the house clean. It's just not polite to point it out.
  19. Happy Birthday Indra! :prettyprincess: It's good to see you back.
  20. Yes, you need an adapter for any driver tube except a 6sn7 or a 6sn7 analog. The 7n7 I recommend also needs an adapter. I got all my adapters except one from SP. I would recommend highly against trying to get anything from SP these days. Look for them to come up for sale here and at HF or try to find them on Ebay.
  21. I have just one question. If they are perfect for you, why would you need or want to recable them?
  22. Happy Birthday Todd. :prettyprincess: Thanks for everything.
  23. A bottle jack is very cheap and works just fine for removing/installing wheels. Of course, you'll have to take the plastic off. It's one reason I don't have any fully-faired biked.
  24. Hold me back.
  25. They look like two chimenea. Where do you put the charcoal?
