It's easy to determine your dominant eye using parallax. With both eyes open, hold your finger about 18" from your face and point at something. Next close one eye. If your finger is still pointing at the object, the open eye is the dominant eye. If your finger is pointing to one side of the object, the closed eye is the dominant eye. You can then rerun the test closing the other eye to verify the results.

Congrats Al. I hope that this gives your son direction. If it doesn't, you might want to look at the Army and Navy Academy at Carlsbad. I have some friends who had a smart, but troubled boy. He was constantly getting into trouble at school and she was constantly having to go to school to deal with the problems. As kind of a last effort in straightening him out, they sent him there. Within one semester he was a changed kid. His grades shot up to straight A's and he really enjoys going there. He just made the shooting team as a sophomore, which is almost unheard of. Of course, now he wants to go to a military academy and become a sniper.

Hey, I am old. The national sales manager at Joseph Audio responded to my email. I will have to ship my speakers to them (I assume to NY) and they must do the xover swap. They'll pay for return shipment. Total cost for me is $350 + shipping to them. That's a bit too steep for me until I get a job. I'll seriously consider it after becoming employed again (or when I great lessen my expenses by selling the house and moving).

I just emailed Joseph Audio asking for information. We'll see how much it is. @Carbonman - Thanks for the suggestion.

For me the post was quite helpful. I'll have to see how expensive it is and how hard it would be to do myself. I suspect that money will be more of an issue that difficulty, but maybe not. Compare this post to the "What have I bought" thread and you'll see that this one is not bad.
