Really I don't think you'll notice much difference. Some of my colleagues bought the 1030 two years ago and it has practically the same functions. In fact, for example it is physically identical (I have put a cover and a 1030 tempered glass and it fits perfectly) This weekend we were able to compare them I can say you that "nothing new under the sun". We were also able to compare the 1040 solar and EMO for the moment until the screen/solar panel technology evolves, it is not worth investing the extra €160 vs. 1040 edge

After 10 years of servitude my Garmin Edge 810 has perished... luckily I didn't buy a new pc so my "candy budget" was intact and yesterday I bought an Edge 1040. It's huge and although the 810 had quite a few sections and metrics, this junk surpasses it. I don't really need that much but one of our patrons made us a good offers this year so... One question, Will I be able to see the Stanley Cup with this? 😁

About Mahler. I recommend this. Honestly, Mahler is not my favorite composer and I don´t like Rattle's style, but in this symphony... (although it´s not completely composed by Mahler), some times I feel the fear of death that torment to the composer. He knew he was dying. Honestly, the first time I listened to it, I got scared... Edit: It sounds a bit stupid, but I wouldn't know how to define the strange feeling it caused me.

Yes, except for the new look, I don't see anything revolutionary with Win11. In any case, a loss of performance until the patches have been arriving over the months. These are precisely things that I have improved until I was forced to migrate to the 30 series in April due to HP Reverb. Thanks to the collapse of mining, I pay a price close to the recommended. About the new GPUs generation (I use Nvidia but I´m not a fanboy) I am quite skeptical. Nvidia has a "questionable" way of doing business (not mention mining, and how prices have been artificially inflated). My perception is that prices will not drop to pre-pandemic levels (CPUs, GPUs or SSD). The industry has seen that they can increase prices and continue to sell (including AMD) So the only alternative when the time comes will be OM computers.
