  1. Kiss, vinyl of course...
  2. Do you remember this? I found a DVD with a few chapters. I remember when I was a child. Although I could not understand it, I liked watching this serie. Today seeing it again and understanding it better, I think it's a wonder
  3. What a contradiction. The logical thing would be an S limited ... and they celebrate the anniversary with a "old" 009?
  4. SR 009BK ? https://stax.co.jp/products/sr-009bk/
  5. Happy Birthday!

    SRL300 Limited

I mean, the L700 seems superior to the L300 Limited. Sure The Omega are some MK2 from the end of 2015. O2 is the most balanced and and it's my reference headset. The L700 has a more relaxed sound, with some very nice trebles but with a bass somewhat fair. The L300 Limited seems warmer, but it lacks the precision and finesse of the L700's treble. Anyone who thinks that the L300 limited is like an L700 or looks like it, I think it's wrong. The question is: at the same price, what is the best purchase, the L300 Limited or the L500?

I do not know what to think but a priori the L700 seems to me superior.

    SRL300 Limited

I just received my L300 limited. They do not look bad but I'm not sure if it deserves more the purchase of an L700. I guess in a couple of hours I can try both.
  9. You should do one. I do not know if I have mentioned it before but I have remained definitively with the E180CC as a pre-valve (it´s somewhere between the ECC82 and the ECC81). I have not noticed any "negative" effects when adding that extra gain in the first stage. The E80CC also works very well here but is more in line with the ECC82 / 12AU7 with a little more gain. I think that this change and the adjustments that I did in the circuit (thanks to Michael, Jim and Kevin) have left the amp in its final configuration.
  10. Ok guys it starts to get cold. it's time to light the stove…

  13. Sure.
  14. I would change the THAT for other. So you can determine if there is any change. For me it is always the main suspect.
  15. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
  16. Did I ever say that I hate this thread? ? …. they only let me eat salads
  17. Who lived in a pineapple under the sea?...
  18. Ok .I supposed we were talking about doing it yourself (Mod a commercial amp vs DIY a SRX-P)
  19. 2K? ummm. It depends. Do you do it or do you order someone? I think mine, adding everything (cases, custom made trafos and bla, bla, bla...) remained around 1K€ (1.2K$) . I´m sure that if you are conservative and you reuse things like the case or use generic material like trafos, the cost can be quite minor. For this reason IMHO for a small budget, the SRX-P is a great project.
  20. Both options are good. If you have a tight budget, the SRX-P is a good candidate, I don´t think you will be disappointed. If you have money the Megatron is an incredible amplifier.
  21. Lo siento Antonio. Mis condolencias.
