  1. Maybe... I think it's a different species. My Square:
  2. I did not remember this amplifier ... I don´t think I have it in my collection.

    Happy Birthday !!!!!
  4. The Squarewave does not sound bad but IMHO dynalo is superior: More balanced, more musical ...
  5. Well, that's not a cons. Finding the components is complicated but still possible. You can get 170/74 of Linear Sis. for example
  6. Happy Birthday!!!
  7. I'm glad to see another Squarewave alive.
  8. While I'm waiting for a custom toroid for my CFAE, I work on my 6SA7g amp. This thing really sounds good but I have a ground loop in someplace and I'm not able to find it.
  9. Descansa en paz Mark
  10. In a first attempt I will use my Universal PSU (GRHV +/-450v) with resistors to reduce the voltage (as in the Megatron). I'm not sure it's the final configuration but ...
  11. Yes but in low levels I don´t think it's worrying. I have measured some RK27 (original of course) and in the levels to which I usually listen to music there is no difference between channels (a few milivolts max). Other way is to use two stereo pot. (like some Stax amps) in case we worry too much about the balance.
  12. A good quality/price option is the Alps "Blue Velvet" RK27. Lately balanced Alps are difficult to find.
  13. I'm not sure why but I'm always involved in all wars. 7.2x2.5 or 183x63.5mm
  14. Happy Birthday Steve!!!!
  15. Please, Has anyone created the C2M1000170D in Multisim?
  16. Thanks to both. I do a copy of the pcb to use it as a template too. I'm used to doing tap holes but I admit that I have never needed so much precision. For example for transitors I use a 2.5mm drill and then a 3M tap with a "manual tap" (I don´t know if it's like that in English, sorry) . I don´t usually have problems but I would like them to be perfect. My biggest question was how to use the tap holde tool correctly. Now that I have seen the photos, it has become clear to me. Today I bought that tool in the UK. I hope it arrives soon.
  17. Wow, I'm looking for something like that to make the CFA holes! Edir: A small guide on how to use it?
  18. Happy Bithday!!
  19. I love this Kraftwerk álbum
  20. My favorite Pantera album. I was a teenager when my mom gave it to me (the year in which it was edited for the first time, I think 94 maybe... ) and I was amazed. I think the version of "Planet Caravan" is simply perfect down to the smallest detail ... guitar solo included.
  21. Before leaving it, why do not you separate the trafo?
