Gotta love a little Bipolar now and then....
Speaking of bipolar, how do you like that haa15 PSU? Is it quiet? Was thinking of using that with maybe a little off board capacitance if it needed it. The Krell went overboard with capacitance....this design seems much leaner.
Thanks for clarifying the spacings
This is what I put together for the amp board only....any errors or suggested changes let me know: http://www.mouser.com/ProjectManager/ProjectDetail.aspx?AccessID=33c64fee31
This has R38/39 reduced to 200ohm for 20V rails so I can jack my KSA5 power supply into it.
Also could not find reel or tape for the mpsw06 so went with straight legs. Typically I prefer the prebent legs.
Tempted to put it in the galaxy chassis like you did with that haa15....
Thomas Dolby - The Flat Earth, the remaster is pretty nice (unlike many remasters). The CD also has Dissidents: The Search For Truth Part I off the 12".
I'm almost done with my Mouser BOM and have a couple questions. I notice in the schematic and the silkscreen file C2 and C5 are 5pf but in the photo you've used 10. I'm assuming the board was an earlier build and the latest is 5pf in the posted files.
I plan to use Cornell Dubilier micas there: http://www.mouser.com/Search/ProductDetail.aspx?R=CD17CD050DO3virtualkey59850000virtualkey598-CD17CD050DO3
I'm also looking for what type of caps to use for the .1uf and 1uf units surrounding the servo.....looks like MLCC or maybe a tantalum for the 1uf?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks! I think I'm going to attempt a 20V (21V) build and try to use the same PS from the KSA5.
The boards are small enough I think it will package well.
Which resistors get changed out?
