  3. Can you post the schematic file in Kicad? I have Kicad but haven't used it. I assume it has a sch and a pcb file similar to the way Eagle works? Maybe not.

  5. Glad you got there and back in this shit Mike. I am interested in those Contis for my Accord when I replace tires fairly soon. Unfortunately Discount Tire doesn't carry them, and I like having their road hazard warranty. Might have to see if I can impose upon them to get some. The Michelins on there from the factory have been good tires however.

Ahh, gotcha, thanks! Why 50K? I might be interested in a 10K or 2. What is the general quality of these? TKD CP2500 realm? Better? Worse?

What are these Alpha pots? Not one I'm familiar with... I guess something like this? http://www.alphapotentiometers.net/html/8mm_pot_4.html
  13. Having a layout tied to a schematic for circuit validation would be a good thing here...

  16. Enjoy John! Beth and I saw them open for Peter Gabriel a few years ago and they were good!
  17. Yep, sad. And agreed Craig. One band I missed seeing (and could have) was INXS before Michael Hutchence passed. Also this. RIP Robert Loggia.
  18. Not that he was a reference on best practices, but Mike Elliot/Counterpoint used to do this kind of shit all the time on mods with 500V BlackGates and Cerafines, only they were just adhered to the board with clear silicone RTV. At least these look like they are secured with tie wraps. I don't really see a problem with that. With this case and amp, I wouldn't want the caps sticking out the top for aesthetic reasons. The input wiring and ac wiring with uninsulated spades should definitely be addressed though IMO.

  21. I've got some BC327-25 and BC337-25. The 337s look just like yours, above, but test out as NPNs (and the 327s are PNPs). I think they came from an ebay seller (Parts4You or something like that).
