  1. I like Santini clothing a lot. A pro supplier to teams. I have 2 pair of these shorts and like them. You can catch them at even better deals at times as well. I also have a pair of their Top CX (non gel) bibs.
  2. C8 ground doesn't appear to be soldered... 1st and 2nd pins from the bottom appear to have something bridging them as well.
  3. Usually arrows like that would mean an offboard connector, or maybe jumper stake pins?
  4. WTF happened to DIY? For the $50-$130 or whatever they are quoting for building the bike, with the info available online, just do it yourself. You will probably do it much better than the disinterested LBS employee will, and save yourself enough to buy some shorts or whatever. Brent: You are riding 23s? Not sure what you weigh, but I would think 25s minimum (and mixing is no problem), and I would probably be looking at 28s. I really like the Conti GP4 Seasons 700x28s I have (~$100/pair including tubes shipped from Wiggle). Built on a GP3000 casing, so feel good, durable, much better than Gatorskins in my opinion in both feel and grip, particularly when wet out. Run less pressure than 23s, have better feel and just as fast.
  5. Happy Birthday Ryan!
  6. You sure that B&K will measure that low? My Fluke 89 will only go into nF. Like about 10...
  7. Yeah, that is one sweet build Kerry! Congrats! Hope you get the noise issues solved, but I have no doubt that you will in short order.
  8. Happy Birthday!
  9. Pics of the board I had done. Works perfectly, built up with parts on hand.
  10. Happy Birthday Tyler!
  11. Putting the 2N7000 in the right way seemed to help These comparators do work differently than one might expect, but it seems to be working fine now.
  12. Oh, its not grounded... very unsafe
  13. I ordered some of the above boards, have built one up with parts on hand, and everything seems to be working. I am trying to test the protection function currently, and have all inputs but 1 grounded. I am injecting offset into L+ input with a 9V battery, and can't get it to trip. Verified at the LM339 pins as +8.x Vdc, with +0.47 and -0.53V reference voltages. pin 6: -ref pin 7: 8V pin 8: 8V pin 9:+ref Am I misunderstanding this or not a good test scenario for this?
  14. Happy Birthday!
  15. Happy Birthday Doug!
  16. Yeah, that was a shocker! Loved The Larry Sanders show... damn. RIP Garry.
  17. I had a few of these run by SeeedStudio... I think they turned out well. I even had 8 31DQ10s left over, and a couple of the pins. I'll need to get some part orders in, and don't have my GRLV nearly ready yet. I did have to flip two of the 10 ohm resistors on the GRLV to the bottom for these to fit, but I'm satisfied.
  18. Happy Birthday Al! Have a great one!
  19. Hadn't visited this thread in a bit. I agree, absolutely gorgeous Doug!
  20. Happy Birthday!
  21. RIP Keith Emerson Saw ELP 4 times, including with the full orchestra they hired (until they ran out of money). First show of theirs I saw must have been after Trilogy came out, with Blue Oyster Cult opening. Emerson did one thing with the Hammond that sounded like a steam train starting up. He had it on its corner, was bouncing it up and down on the stage, and even using knives in the keyboard to hold notes down. Amazing show. The quad show for Welcome Back My Friends was amazing too. I could have seen Carl Palmer a couple of months ago in a smaller venue but didn't make it.
  22. http://www.vt4c.com/shop/program/main.php?cat_id=6&group_id=2 http://www.thlaudio.com/indexE.htm Usually have some nice offerings. And yes, you are most likely going to need to drill to 8mm, and possibly retap the setscrew hole.
  23. but do you have a BOM available for what it is you are ordering for resistors? This is for a 10K attenuator, or do you have multiple variants in mind? 10K is what I would be interested in.
  24. What is in the Dig. Att. Kits? The boards I have are the first version, so don't use the MAX chips, but I could be interested in the resistors, etc.
  25. The cap value is right on the board... 0.022uf, or 22nf... this is for the diode bridge replacement board. 1 cap, small. The values you have listed suggest you think this is the PSU board itself.
