Yes, watched it. I liked it, but it had its problems. Unfortunately, HBO didn't pick it up for a 2nd season.

So I have this ILP 49783R, 160VA 2x24-26Vac xfrmr. No markings. Single primary, both leads white. From the descriptions I have read online (which jive with what I saw lighting this thing up and ohming), yel-red is one secondary and blue-black is the other. They state that yel-black is 48-52Vac (I would assume with the other leads connected together. So can I assume something like the following drawing, and that the phase dots would be either yellow and blue, or red and black? And don't laugh too hard at my crude drawing

Commenting on ang728's board layout: an additional output connector would be nice when feeding a pair of dynalo/dynahi boards. Provision for other rectifier diodes would also be nice though not a must have. Accommodating 3 bridges worth of those would add some footprint to the board I would think. TKD 4CP-601 & 4CP-2500 4-gang volume pot and PCB GB

Might confuse the fab though... plate these slots, don't plate those I didn't have any trouble soldering one, and didn't see any tendency to self-wick solder across or anything. -
There are some threads on diyaudio regarding this. One in particular is from Russ White (twisted pear audio) from 2006. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Oops, thought I had the pic in there. It was basically lines between the slot and the pads the arrows are pointing to, which are what you need to be careful about not bridging. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I don't believe Kevin has posted a schematic, but I think it is similar to Amb's attenuator. Each relay is shunting a resistor to ground. There could be any combination of relays on at a time (8 maximum), for the 256 steps in the attenuator. I guess it depends on how you define "in the signal path". See http://www.amb.org/audio/delta1/ Please correct me if this is wrong.

I'm not quite sure I follow what you mean? -
I presume that wasn't cried because she loved them so much

Michael sent some boards down to me, and I did a test fit of a stereo TKD 2CP-2500. Fit is perfect! This is an older pot with the wider 3 mm terminals; the group buy pots should have the newer 2.5mm terminals, so will fit easily, The quad pots have 2 more decks than the stereo pot at the same spacing, so will also fit perfectly. Also, be very careful when soldering either a CP601 or CP2500 in. Do not bridge the holes shown in the red arrows below. There was no getting around this on these boards with the pots concentric with one another. EDIT: Alps quad fits perfectly as well. Installed it and works great, much better than the wired up piece of veroboard I was using. -

Paid for 1xCP601 and 3xAllInOne boards. -
Nothing at the moment Marc. Maybe some JFETs in the near future. Speaking of which, has anyone heard of a vendor called Heisener? They claim they can get genuine 2SJ74-BLs for $3@, and say they will guarantee them. I looked and I have 60+ SK170s, but no SJ74s dumb

I really like the finish on the case, whatever it is. Guts look like modushop, but the ano doesn't (or whatever it is).

Kevin, DId you ever buy one of these? If so, what do you think of it?

Yes, very nice!

Tried out a supplier that I hadn't used in quite awhile for some GRLV parts: Arrow Their prices, at least on what I ordered, were better than Mouser (15%, maybe more). And free ground shipping. They seemed to have better qty price breaks as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The ones I have are Fairchild... but it looks like they made both at one time, maybe still do.

Nice Marc, though 85C The ones I ordered should be here Tuesday.

Just checking, but the KSP42/92 used for this are the same thing as MPSA42/92? The datasheet parameters (those I checked) appeared to be the same. Since I have MPSAs, I'll go ahead and use them. Don't remember what I bought them for, but it was awhile ago... EDIT: typed MPSW instead of MPSA

Happy Birthday Chris! Hope you have a great one!

Yes, you went there, didn't you The Donald's fave debate tactic seemed to be to throw whatever he was accused of back at the accuser. He did start ranting about the election/system being rigged. Maybe he was referring to it being rigged... for him? EDIT: and sorry, I've been drinking....
