Happy Birthday Mike! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My experiences involved D.C. Servos on I/V stages (0 feedback, D.C. coupled). Opamps I tried included the OP27, TL071 and TL081 (or dual equivalent). The TL081 was the best of the bunch in terms of lowest offset. Stages were either rbroer's (diyaudio) or Colin's (cetoole). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Fixed that for you. And yep, agreed.

Couldn't wait, and after waffling between the 6S and the 7, went with a 7 128G. Just getting stuff transferred over, think I am done. We'll see Thing is a shit ton faster than my old 4S...

^ An important distinction; across the 2 ohm resistors, not from one end to ground.

No, unless someone has extras they are willing to part with. The Gerber file(s) to have boards made are available. Read the thread. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not sure about version, but the .zip file is the Gerbers, which is what the board shop needs to make the board(s). It will not contain schematics or anything other than the Gerbers.

Yes, was thinking it was Greg as well, so left that out. Us old guys...

Needed some recs, so figured I'd just tack onto this thread since Antonio seems to be done with it I want to upgrade my iPhone 4S, 16G. I'm thinking about a 6S 128G, or possibly a 7 128/256G. Requirements: I use my wired Apple ear buds (the dual ones) for both listening (music) and for phone/conference calls, so mic support is a must I'm not too keen on the idea of forking out for the bluetooth ear buds My 4S is packed to the gills and I keep having to delete music, even after using the old "download Lord of the Rings Two Towers from iTunes store" trick. I can get maybe 5-600M open, but that is it. Convince me that a 7 can support what I need and is an upgrade over the 6S...

Interested in these, but would like to demo a pair. Any suggestions, or anyone here have a pair they would loan me for a week or two?

Happy Birthday Justin!

I've seen that occur (not on this amp) when oscillation is present. Oscillation goes thru the common PSU to the other board, at least that is my theory. Do you have a scope? Maybe check the boards with the previous resistor and see if you can detect any oscillation.

How to get a Megatron: 1) find Gerber files from Stax mafia site 2) download said Gerber file .zip file 3) send said Gerber .zip file to your favorite PCB manufacturer, ensuring correct specs (copper weight) and finish of your choice 4) find suggested BOM by reading this thread (also necessary for item 3, above) 5) order correct qty of parts determined in step 4 above from your favorite supplier(s) Nothing to it... That Serotta looks to be in very good shape Jeff. I've never used gripshift (well, other than on my wife's Specialized Crossroads, which I hate). The seller says that he has the original indexed downtube right shifter included. The left is downtube already. You could convert this to 10 or 11 speed if you wanted to. Cassettes should be available at least to 28, and probably higher with a MTB cassette, but the RD probably couldn't handle it. Because of the braze on FD mount, there may be an issue with going smaller in the chainrings because the derailleur will only slide down so far. http://www.bikeforums.net/bicycle-mechanics/841688-need-lower-gears-8-speed-ultegra-setup.html

Good luck Jacob!

Met John (jvlgato) for lunch today, down by the VA. Great as always to see him, and had a nice chat (and lunch)! We'll have to do it again!

Not much support for your position in the diyaudio thread. I disagree with the moderator warning there, but that is the way that forum is run, so you have to abide by it. Not sure why you posted this here, but I'd read your welcome pm if you hope to stick around... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
