^Probably (respect any pinout differences). I think they are effectively the same transistor/die. The only thing that could potentially be a problem would be cooling. I know the pzta parts were put in because of that (power going beyond the BC capability and the MPSW being discontinued). -
Thanks for all of your work! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Getting an error trying to login. Using current password, login etc. I get an error saying that it can't find a user with my email address, and then tells me to log in manually. When I try to do that, it says: Server error occurred: '1 Call to undefined method IPS\Login::forms()(MbqRdEtUser.php:29)'

Kerry countersunk his: johnwmclean countersunk all but the Neutrik jack holes. I'm ok with only the corners countersunk, or whatever. John's panels were 2.5mm thick. Not sure on Kerry's but they look about that as well.

Took a look at them (cursory); they look good!

I’ll take a look at these tonight. As for the LED hole, the std. LED is a T1 3mm round. I had wondered whether a 2mm hole was big enough for these, but johnwmclean used the same for his... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Maybe about here... this used to be pm'd to all new members, guess it isn't anymore. Cavalli stuff isn't well thought of around here (engineering issues), FOTM issues, general fuckedness issues.

I think you should widen the case as you planned to do. The additional venting for the top cover is probably wise as well. Just keep us informed as to progress and post the final design files when you are ready to place the order. Thanks!

Hehe. In order to avoid paying $3.40@ for some Wellwyn RC55s from Mouser for the Salas phono stage I built, I lucked out on some from element14 (Newark) or somewhere where I had to buy something like 12-15 of them (one off) but got them for $1@ or something like that. Other values of the same resistor were on the order of $1.25@ or so. I just wouldn't pay that price each.

Hi Gael, Status on this? This is getting to be somewhat ridiculous regarding time line as there was a known good design in johnwmclean's, known vendors (though certainly not as cheap), etc. Please provide an update, and thanks. I know running group buys is a pain in the fucking ass, but it is what it is.

Cozymels. I hadn't eaten there in 10 years or more. It was pretty good, not great. I miss the Baja Fresh that used to be up there.

Thanks guys! Had a pretty good day. It is my last week at my current job; my boss took me out for lunch to a more upscale Mexican place in Wheaton and we had a couple of margaritas and too much lunch. Kind of funny when you get along really well with a boss 30 years your junior... my Raleigh is 12 years older than he is . He was a big reason why taking the new job was such a tough decision, although the new boss seems like a good guy, and the company makes up for many of the current ones shortcomings. And got out for a short ride (6 mi) with my youngest son just before dark. Sipping the usual (Lil Sumpin'), so life is good.

I prefer the FETs (170/74, 109/389 and 489/689), but it isn’t a night and day difference. The offset will be lower with them. For the 3 Dynalo minis that I built, 2 of them used 489/689 FETs and one used THAT340. I haven’t listened to them extensively, but didn’t notice huge differences. The FET boards were easier to bias and seem a bit more stable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looks like Mouser has some Abracon that have the built in cap. And yes, all of the Murata ones they stock appear to be EOL.
