  1. Clicking on Dusty's link results in this form (which is what I see when I send a PM):
  2. Same as Andy... I don't think the new software allows multiple recipients...
  3. Happy Birthday Doug!
  4. Happy Birthday Doug!
  5. Oh, you have that little voice too? Good luck!
  6. Good news Al! Best wishes on her recovery!
  7. Yeah. 2SC3381GR Caveat: Have not tested mine yet.
  8. This is pretty insane... Downhill bike race in Chile
  9. They had a group buy for those a year or so ago on diyaudio (2SJ109 / 2SK389) The received product could very well have been 2SC3381s...
  10. ^ Actually 10 for $15, and shipping is reasonable ($3/$4 IIRC to US). These are GR grade however. I bought some, but haven't tested them yet.
  11. BB machine gun? My link
  12. Dreadhead will laff his ass off at this, but a Japanese bike bell: Getting tired of yelling "on your left" on the rarer occasions that I am on a path...
  13. How about a slider for "Moar bass" to "Dental drill"? But then you would actually have to know what the cans sound like since it is unlikely you could gather this info from the manufacturer's literature (assuming they have any).
  14. ^ Indeed
  15. Took a quick look. Meh Sound Quality is divided up into Freq. Response, Sensitivity (?), THD (text isn't clear as it is labeled High THD?) and Impedance. I don't think Impedance really plays a roll in sound quality (unless your device pukes trying to drive it). Same with Sensitivity. Pretty useless IMHO.
  16. Ehhh, the fucking death star strikes again... I had heard that Sprint was going to buy them. Can we say m-o-n-o-p-o-l-y?
  17. Happy Birthday Al!
  18. Happy Birthday to both of you!!!
  19. So you know it all? (Or more than "all" according to your Venn diagram above)? That will go over well...
  20. Yeah, whatever. Why don't you return the amp to dannyB and let him deal with it?
  21. Happy Birthday!
  22. Western Digital Caviar Green 2TB, a pair of Ecco shoes for work. And a pair of Fostex T50RP phones. Do these things sound like shit stock or what My brother will be modding these for me.
  23. Monkey gave you a very good suggestion, though it might be hard to come by on your side of the pond. As for modding the X-Can, you could try Pink Floyd's site (can't remember it offhand). Much X-Can modding going on there. Never listened to one though (stock or otherwise). Never had a desire to either. Hmmm, twats or assholes...
  24. If I were you I would make the seller take it back... of course I wouldn't have bought it in the first place.
  25. Nah, both the diodes are there. I just don't see any point to this "mod". Of course I haven't seen the bottom side of the board. Both diodes are being fed by a CCS, which should be equal current in each leg. The pot can vary that between legs, I presume for offset adjustment. Note, I've never built a KGSS, so might be talking out my arse.
