  3. Yes, RIP.
  4. Yes, Happy Father's Day to all the dads around here!
  5. Congrats! Yes, you must drink some more..
  6. This guy has some handling skilz...
  7. Nice work Kerry! Is that one of KG's boards, or did you have those made?
  8. Reminds me of fortune tellers... "what, you didn't know I was coming?" While I don't wish ill will upon anyone...
  9. Al, glad that your mother is improving. My dad fell and broke his other hip around Labor Day last year and has been in the nursing home ever since getting out of the hospital. He has dementia as well, and since he hasn't managed to get up and walk by himself, I'm pretty sure he won't be getting out of the nursing home. I remember playing golf with him 10 years ago... sad to see him go downhill this fast, but he's never really been the same since a car accident around 2004 when some lady ran a light and broadsided he and my mom. Are you back for good Stretch? Dan, glad no tornadoes showed up!
  10. Happy Birthday Scott!
  11. Really! That is some bad luck all the way around. Hope things get better and worked out with the problems!
  12. Hehe... nicely done Tyll!
  13. ^^^ exactly. I just had to post that in the HF thread. No disrespect to JP, but this isn't CJ. EDIT: and post deleted... big surprise
  14. Congrats Chris! (it the doctor and wife are to be believed)
  15. A pair of Vittoria Open Corsa EVO tires. Finally rode them last night, and probably the closest thing to sew-ups that I have ridden. Hard to recall what sew-ups felt like since it has been years since I have ridden any. Bought a slightly used pair to try them out before I spring for some new ones. Ive bought brand name car tires that are less than these
  16. Nice Jim! We need to replace ours one of these days, but I've been dreading it What kind is the one you bought? And is it wood, or composite made to look like wood?
  17. Happy Birthday!
  18. Yep. Use these in my drill press. Agreed about breakage...
  19. Happy Birthday! :prettyprincess:
  20. Double Meh... that isn't CanJam Also, is HF paying royalties for the name "CanJam"? Didn't Mike or one of the Florida contigent come up with that?
  21. x2... great job Bryan! Best of luck, and hopefully the Accenture position can stay in IL. My younger brother lives in the twin cities; I've always liked it there whenever I've gone up to visit him, though wisely never in winter tundra.
  22. SmartWools rock. I wear them all winter. I also have a Smartwool baclava for cycling, and a couple pairs of Smartwool cycling socks as well. I might have to buy one of their jerseys, though I usually don't gear up much to ride.
  23. Should be pretty easy to find a Sun Tour FD on epay, if you need to replace it. Not sure what kind of controls you have, but put it at the lowest gear and make sure the cable is snug, but not too tight. Also make sure that the derailleur moves freely (easier with the cable disconnected). If the cage is centered over the lowest chainring and it still won't shift, something is farked. Park Tools has some excellent repair help articles online: Park Tools front derailleur adjustment

    The Chicago Code

No, I was thinking of Raising Hope. Of course it is only a 1/2 hour show. Fox is handicapped somewhat in that local news is at 9:00 (in midwest), so they only have 2 hours of prime time per night versus the 3 hours (7-10) of the other networks. I'm know that Glee has a large following, but it still sucks.
  25. x2 Congrats Mike (and son). Ken, glad the procedure went well and also hoping there is no round 3.
