  1. RIP. Yep, watched a lot of McHale's Navy, as well as Airwolf. I thought he was great in the Bruce Willis movie not that long ago (name escapes me) as well.
  2. Happy Birthday Mike!
  3. Happy Birthday!
  4. Happy Birthday Birgir!
  5. I'd read my welcome PM if I were you, then STFU. Also, lol doesn't play well here (see Nenso)...
  6. Happy Birthday Greg! Hope it was a good one!
  7. Happy Birthday!
  8. Happy Birthday Justin!
  9. You should be able to tell something with a meter by ohming out R (ring) to ground (sleeve) and L (tip) to ground. Not sure what you might see if it has a pot inline... I'm guessing the pot will be a constant impedance towards the source/amp. If you suspect the pot, get rid of it when you rewire. Playing around with existing wires that might be flaky is an exercise in futility....
  10. Sucks. Best wishes to you and all out there.
  11. For the 4.7uf caps, I don't think polypropylene is required. I believe the std. cap for this is a Wima MKS. As you discovered, polypropylene in 4.7uf will be large.
  12. Rudolfs, You might save some time and money on the sigma22 by getting a kit from Jeff Rossell at Glass Jar Audio... http://glassjaraudio.com/product.sc?productId=3 I know he will allow kit configuration to an extent, so if you already have a transformer, etc. he would probably work with you on that.
  13. Sorry they built your hopes up Dusty! I agree with the general honesty approach without stretching or overselling your qualifications. I'm sure it would not take very long at all for you to brush up since you were quite good at it in the past. Being too honest can cost you; I've done Java in the past would be honest enough, particularly since you were good at it.
  14. Those look very nice!
  15. Happy Birthday!
  16. Same Archosman. Did OK, thought about him while I was out on my ride, and later when I was out hitting golf balls.

  20. You apparently didn't read your welcome PM very closely and lurk here for a bit to get a feel of this place...
  21. Yes, it was very good Al. We both really enjoyed it. It was a nice night out, though we were in the covered seated section. http://www.chicagotribune.com/entertainment/music/turnitup/chi-radiohead-concert-review-radiohead-at-first-midwest-bank-amphitheatre-reviewed-20120610,0,4054249.column That Roger Waters show looks like quite the spectacle Mikey. He was here at Wrigley Field Friday night.

    The Killing

^ Could be Steve... though her pressuring her father into the federal warrant wouldn't be a good move on her part
