  1. Happy fiddlers day old chap ;o)

  2. also if the "load" is placed before the 4.7M balast resistor?
  3. Kerry means taking away line 104 by adding "//" and putting in line 105, by removing "//" so line 104 gets active and line 105 get inactive
  4. What about having a simple circuit that loads down the BIAS voltage if excessive DC is present on the output?
  5. What kind of "stupid" are you talking about here? How would a clamp circuit help?
  6. Now, that's a load off ... why not any pictures of the electric bill, or would that be cramming too much meaning in to a photograph?
  7. @kerry: if some wants to build the DIYT2 based on your layout will you provide the latest gerbers?
  8. you probably already figured out that there needs to be 10V across R7 and R10 (or equal voltage to whatever voltage ref you use) ... Kevin later change the string from ~3k to 4k, see here
  9. Con grat What's the right pin order then?
  10. looks like the previous one. But no problems with that - so far I've built six. AFAIK the only change is an added option for using CT transfomer, so the latest is the most versatile
  11. You might find something here ....take a look at the side where all the pictures are shown, and you'll see various non-Stax tips suggested.
  12. Does that still apply if the pass transistors on the GRLV are mount onto a proper heatsink?
  13. You got mail. Thanks.
  14. Can understand the reasoning for easy access, but one door seems a bit cheapo ... why didn't you opt for a double door ? symmetry seems important!
  15. why not bolt a pair and use it as the desk ...
  16. The 6R04 ohms are marked as "C" (might be confued with those marked as "J") came in small packages of 5 ea, so you might have several marked "C" depending on how many kits you have ordered. The 50ohms are strips of 32, those Kerry pointed to are marked with a RED stripe.
  17. Every package has shipped and the sheet updated accordingly. For those participating in Dig.Att. Boards, Dig.Att.kit and Über amp boards, your have to look at each sheet to check your final remainder. Those with negative remainder means you have paid too much and will receive a re-fund of that amount. Please let me know when the package arrives. Thanks Currently double checking payments to be sure that the accounting is right, so don't act until tomorrow, thanks.

    Guitar-Case

you probably need to stop down your lens to something like 5.6 or 8 to get full depth why not string it up and see what happens ...?

have you tried loosen up the neck screw ? hard to judge from the pics but could seem like it has been over tighten ...
  20. Happy Birthday!
  21. you might consider hinges ....sort of like the Oracle Delphi cover, which has hinges fixed to the bottom plate ...
  22. Do you put the cover back in place right after use or do you wait, and for how long?
  23. Fine. I'll order the ERJ-P08F51R0V today. Thus the Shipping will be postpone further, probably until friday this week. It will add 2USD to the kit that will include both the 0805 and the 1206 resistor. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  24. Had a few transformers from ToroIDY with two 115V primarys I needed to serialize, unfortunately no markings of the phase. Hook'ed up one of the secondaries to a function generator, and serialized the two primaries. Having two free leads and two connected leads (CT) Measured the voltage V1 from CT to one lead, and V2 from CT to second lead. Finally measured the voltage V3 from lead to lead. If V1 + V2 = V3, then the two windings are in phase. If V1+V2 ≠ V3, the the two windings are out of phase. Are there an easier way of determine the phase of transformer windings?
