Was recently asked about the same, someone had measured: For the 220V input, R=6.2ohm. For the 16-0-16V output, R=0.8+0.8ohm. However, for the 330V output, R=45ohm! And asked whether it was too high, the ToroIDY I had at hand measured: For the 220V input, R=14ohm. For the 16-0-16V output, R=(4+4) and 93ohm for 390V windings. Have you measured the voltages from the transformer unloaded?

Maybe you can persuade Chinsetta to make a wooden housing that fits the 007 drivers, 009pads and your headband of choise?

No prob. I've read the same. But changing resistors does include a bit of soldering, could be interesting if someone hving the problem would run through the batteries with some wick and re-solder before attempting to replace the resistors ...

do you see the noise on a scope?

How does one knows it is "leaky"?

Can it be done as '1-layer' rather, using top layer as two separate ground planes (one each channel)? -
oh, boy ... me thought you dingos was all into the three brother screaming like pi'gees and this local farm girl crying her way through Sandy Wink & Clean ....you only need a drummer with porn-mustache to throw ZZ off the throne, although I don't recommend copying too close and call the band WC TOP

I guess BRITA sort of stole their logo from Philips, although Philips didn't really finalize it

A yellow chair and blue can ....and the crazy Swede turns up ... not everything yellow and blue turns into green, ya know ;o)

Interesting indeed. There are another member who designed an acrylic box himself for the Stax SR-009, exquisite btw, but he puts the 009 inside the box ... you on the other hand, have it outside ...
-
...just curious, but how old is the water can?
-
who's responsible for the yellow areas on the chair? was it also there before listning?

to my knowledge the way most manufactors makes those log scales is by having two or three linears they combine, so I guess there are several ways of making the fit. -
I got some new neighbors about a year ago, a young quiet couple, no kids. Half a year ago they got a kitty. In the beginning I noticed the kitten often turned up when I got home from work, came over to the drive way for a short chit chat. During the summer it seems as if it spends more and more time in my garden. Besides from a bit of small talking I don't do much to keep it around, I don't feed it or anything as I don't want to hijack my neighbors kitty and it seems well fed. Yesterday I was sitting in my garden, reading - the kitten turned up, looked at me for a bit, I didn't say anything, just looked at it, and the kitten didn't say anything, and then it settle in the grass and stayed there for about two hours - wonder what makes the kitten hang around that much

Due to reported hail rate you need to: 1. If the current number is even, divide it by two; else if it is odd, multiply it by three and add one. 2. Rinse and repeat. ..., and you'll find how many useful ones you end up having. -
Phoned the guys and made sure everything is moving forward. We will receive the stuff friday next week. For those new to the party or been moving since last time, please update me at xxx@hotmail.com.

There are no need to point to a specific company as there are several doing quite similar stuff, and only few exceptions. But to be honest about this, it also seems to be some kind of its own ecological system; many consumers want to believe that the next thing is even closer to heaven, and manufacturers both full fill this desire and feed it as well. ..is actually limited to reviews before product launch? I'd say in general one has to be vary careful not to put too much faith into any review

lying is an ethical issue ... I doubt the manufacturers releasing major breakthroughs at high pace, arent' aware that they are in fact lying ....having 500 units made, then the next batch sounds different due to lack of process control, what to do? ...put on a piece of plastic to the driver, change the color, and call it some fancy name and market it as a major breakthrough, and to support the BS also claim "patent bending"
-
You might add the "Patent Bending" stuff, they usually throw in to the mix, and make sure the damn thing is available in yummie colors as well ...most people seems mostly comfortable being occupied doing equipment decor

...made me speculate for a bit. I have two 007's (70xxxx and SZ1-xxxx) and some Lambda/Sigma's from way back ... so far I've only experienced a broken cable on the new'st one - the SZ1-xxxx. I wonder if is change of copper (wasn't the LC-OFC introduced with the 007's?) that causes the wires to be more brittle by aging alone ?
