  1. Feedback loop seems way too long - having it implemented at a separate board might not be the best of ideas.
  2. UN
  3. Yep. diodes are protection for the opamp. Probably Kevin left those out since the servo input original was suppose to come from the output board via optos and thus not needed. the parallel resistors is there to raise the current but not needed here.
  4. Seems ok. I'd kept feedback on the driver itself, and feed the servo from the driver board as well. As far as I remember 2x 1M from the SiCs of the driver combined into the OpAmp and the +input grounded.
  5. 4n25:you have 'diode' (A->C) from 6->4 and 6->5, and 1->2, also see the datasheet feedback is missing and servo is missing input, as it is no longer comming from the output board 8mA for driver and somewhere >20mA for output board depending on your heatsink and crazyness I guess ;o) I use 18AWG but don't see why 20AWG should be enough though using 240V (2x250VA+210VA) using 2.5TA on each
  6. or a simple circuit with a trimmer/transistor and a couple of resistors and you can dial in the brightness...not much to it...
  7. might be worth a read
  8. Yes, current adjustment. Feedback moved back to driver board.
  9. Thanks 呂 宏曉 ... got it from your Paypal payment
  10. Yes
  11. Update CAPs GROUP BUY: sheet Price is confirmed 12USD/ea: 680uF/550V Please make your payments (according to the sheet (doesn't include shipping, will be added later)). As soon as everybody has made payments, I'll order the caps. /S
  12. sheet updated with shipping info for all but a few.
  13. look in the sheet and sign up for what ever you want
  14. You can still get some GRLV from the group buy if you want ...
  15. You received a "Circlotron Driver" board ... look carefully, very similar to the Carbon amp board (The silk description is a bit misleading though). Everybody having ordered Circlotron Output boards v2 will receive the actual Circlotron Output board v2 in two weeks. Everyone can keep the extra set of driver boards. Sorry for the inconvenience it might have caused.
  16. You are certainly no "deadbeat" no worries ;o) The sheet will contain the actual shipping. I always add that after shipping, mostly because the Danish Postal Service is a bit unreliable in terms of shipping costs - we don't have flat rates as US. The US/CA participants is going to be filled in by @mwl168 - he might be occupied by work - haven't heard from him since saturday.
  17. Thanks for notifying: [email protected]
  18. Boards for non-US/CA arrived today. I'll start packing today, and will ship tomorrow. As stated 31st of august: " I assume regular mail (no tracking, no sign-off). Please let me know ASAP if you want other option at [email protected] (remember your head_case ID) "
  19. Update: Boards for US/CA arrived is @mwl168 . Boards for non-US/CA is on its way to Denmark.
  20. For extra GRLV you can still get on the train, shoot me an email: [email protected] ....for parts look at the start of this thread, mwl168 has shared a few Mouser BOMs
  21. deleted /all-ready answered
  22. is that really all you have to say about this build? in all fairness John's build seems like "the best" build Carbon shown on the forum - there has been others fine builds, but not as exquisite as this.
  23. exquisite ... must be the "state of the art" build!
  24. did you check continuity in rgrds to the lt1021 socket like @GeorgeP suggested? or clean up and resolder the joints before replacing sand?
  25. @wink I guess @Dusty Chalk points to that no-one actually pressed the "Like this" , and you might miss a comma after "it"
