  1. Click repair is the way to go to declick an LP
  2. Wave Editor for $79 or Peak le for $99. Peak is easier to break up tracks and burn CDs but WE sounds better and has better sample rate conversion and dithering tools.
  3. Keeping it mellow tonight at a great local beer bar, the Freakin' Frog. Thanks to all for the B-day well wishes

    Canjam 2010.

I plan on being there most likely Thursday through Sunday to be able to get a day in town.
  6. Dinny for a few bucks I'll tell you whatever you want to hear as you appear to really be fishing for a reason not to buy these. Not that Vickie, Mike, Al and I are the sole arbiters of SQ but for crying out loud just do this already
  7. I really like Vinnie and think he is a stand up guy but his power amps have their limits and are great as a compromise between , heat, size, power and SQ. I thought the F1 was the better amp for the k1000 in a head to head with the sig 30 amp but YMMV. I like the battery solution for items that may not need huge amounts of power like a cdp or pre amp but question their usage on high draw power amps
  8. normally I don't do the random gift exchange but I love this place so count me in Steve thanks for kicking this off
  9. Billy Happy Birthday !
  10. I declare this meet officially a JH13 and Zu speaker meet!
  11. I have not been a fan of the Graham Slee stuff having owned the phono pre and auditioned one of the headphone amps. You can likely do better elsewhere and x2 on the slim devices stuff for a decent cheap source.
