I've got a few od the impulse releases from AP and I agree they are great including ALS but I really do like the HD tracks 24/96 stuff as well. I have not directly compared the two though. Ugh the All Things Must Pass vinyl kinda sucks and IMHO is not worth the $60 admission price. My copy is noisy and joy as good sounding as the hires release.

argh replacing the HD in the mac book pro was no picnic even after formatting via a usb case to extended journaling the MBP could not see the drive. I had to pull the drive case it load the OSX disc to it and then reinstall to get it to boot up. This fucked me out of snow leopard, I admit I may be computer challenged but I've done a fair bit of hardware changes. This was with a corsair f120 ssd and that may have been the problem.

Al yes a special black Friday edition, I found out while surfing Steve Hoffman and drinking at the Blind Tiger and took off like a fat bat out of hell towards bleecker records I'll have digital versions ready by xmas
