I've been bored so I went through Ray's post history. As far as I can see, he's always had his intro post more or less complete with a regular and intro price. The incremental stuff is definitely not normal for him. The B52 had a posted intro price $4500 ($5350 is regular) and the Apache had an intro price of $2495. All of his recent portable stuff (Tomahawk, P51, etc..) has had that. I'm going to have to say he's trying to get into Justin's second order cycle for the BHSE.
I'm thinking it will be 6K. While it makes sense to price it competitively with the BHSE, something just tells me he won't care about that and yes I can't see him pricing it below the B52 at all.
It's ambiguous. I've heard angel or demon (who's able to walk the other and not just be in someone's head). Evidently her role was some messenger (reincarnated from the original Kara) to get them to "Earth".
I think it's a very serious risk. That could be problems with the design that we haven't anticipated on a theoretical basis. Resulting changes from that may very well cause a modification that renders many parts useless, largely owing to the fact that we've been doing things in terms of a group buy. I think before we proceed any further we really should get a prototype going.

I'm sure that there's definitely form over function at work. However some of the aesthetic choices, are just ugly and could have been easily remedied by a lot of other readily available parts. Assuming the pics of the TTVJ website are of a production model, then it is a notable oversight. Form over function works, but still can look much cleaner. But then again maybe I'm not as attracted to the whole "built by Pete Millet" factor that some seem to be.
