Amy's her dominant personality's name, Evelyn's one of her secondary personality's names, silly. Amy doesn't know Evelyn's passwords, even, so of course wouldn't realized she called you before. It's like Jekyll and Hyde and shit, except it's Amy/Evelyn/Whateverthefuck.
Occam's razor, right?
Finally opened my Modernist Cuisine at Home. It's one of the most awesomest cookbooks I've ever seen (I don't have their "big book").
I guess I have to go buy some kind of sous vide contraption. This is not a complaint.
"You couldn't hit the side of a barn with the rest of the world!"
"You're a danger to yourself—not others!"
"There's this concept called a 'target.' It's the thing you keep missing."
^^ Saw one in the flesh a few weeks ago. Drooled. Case is made of plastic tho, and titanium, what a scratch magnet. And the price is so outrageous as to not be believed. Not that I don't think there are plenty of watches out there "worth" $25,000, but there are twenty watches I'd buy at that price before that one.
Not that I'm buying watches that spendy, ever.
My big rig is at work (with the PWD), and I have the StageDAC at home and the Dragonfly for travel. The other two are collecting dust for sure. I'm thinking of swapping the StageDAC (which is connected to my computers at home) for something else, however...
Shitfire squared. Or cubed, even. Wait, I have five!
My meager (by comparison) collection: PS Audio PWD 2, Audioquest Dragonfly, Meier StageDAC, Headroom Overture DAC, Musical Fidelity X-DAC.
Clearly I don't have enough of these DACses things.
Noise is omnipresent whether source is connected or not.
With no source connected, the loudness of the noise goes from bal (loudest) to mini to rca (quietest) when I select the different inputs.
Looks like it's coming from the amp.
