I'm just not into the spicy chicken sandwich thing at all. They did open a new falafel stand not far from my house. Now that's exciting news for me. I love a good falafel sandwich, but it's hard to find one at all around here, let alone a good one. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

The best thing about being this weirdness is that I'm genuinely, deeply happy in a calm sorta way, while still getting all the other moods and emotions bouncing around on top of that like toys. I'm sure it will pass, but it's sure fun for now. Thanks for the help, Grahame. Lemme see if I can do it now, though I'm pretty sure I've managed to post clips before.

It's amazingly cool here in Florida. Damn near winter weather at about 74 an hour ago. I got up at 4:30 this morning to do some of the work I needed to do this weekend, but couldn't bring myself to do. Work itself was a waste. Had a new co-worker "shadowing" me all day, which meant I spent more time explaining what I was doing than actually doing anything. Oh well. I then went to my insurance agent to learn that the wind mitigation inspection I had a couple weeks ago basically saved me about $600 this year...so yay!!! In celebration, I went to the spa for a nice manicure, pedicure and massage, took myself out to dinner, and am now listening to some nice music while feeling fat and happy. Life is good.

A couple apps I'm liking: The Guardian Eyewitness - nice news photography with little blurbs. It's also free. GPS Drive MotionX - I've avoided the whole GPS thing because I didn't want to spend money for a GPS, and I was also afraid of being distracted by it. I have to admit that it comes in handy sometimes. I got this app a couple days ago, and it's just right. You get one month free of voice directions then I think it's about $25 for the year. I'm not sure if I'll go that route, but I like the large size of the maps and don't find it distracting at all.

Went to the range and shot my new guns, bought a hostler for the seecamp, but still need one for the Springfield. Put about 200 rounds of whitebox through the EMP with no failures. Put about 20 rounds through the seecamp.....OUCH. Now to figure out how to clean these little things.

Still in my weird but superbly happy state after a crazy week of work, ending with a seriously crazy Friday, and topped off with a very nice and not crazy dinner at the Brother Tuckers with Mike and John. Life is good. And congrats to Ric.
