  1. Dinny, though the handle's in the way of a good view, in the middle compartment there are a couple clips (removable) that are there to use with their Brain Cell, which is protective laptop case in different sizes for different models. You basically snap the case in, and it secures the laptop from moving around at all. In the front compartment, there's a zippered section that is good for shoes or whatever, but you can also unzip it completely to have a section the size of the rear section open to you if you need more room for larger clothes. The three pockets up front are roomier than they look. It's designed really well. Also, the zippers remind me of what you see on wet suits: sealed, no cloth showing, no water can get in.
  2. Damn on the hearing results, Mike. Reminds me why I'm a wimpy driver. Shelly, just hire Dr. Wood to come spiffy up your floors if they need help. Rex, how many days are you doing to physical therapy per week?
  3. As soon as I saw this thread, this was the first CD that I thought of, probably because it was a surprise, and mostly because it's one of very few cds that I've listened to from beginning to end at least 50 times, and haven't tired of it yet. Great song writing. I'll post a couple more when I'm not feeling so lazy.
  4. Roll on, Mikey. I just got my Tom Bihn Tri-star today, and I'm really happy with it. The quality is excellent, it's a really well-thought out bag, and the size is perfect for me. Lousy iphone pics of beautiful bag and dirty tile floor: The Tri-star with packing cubes. The open (red) pocket on the front of Tri-star is for a water bottle. Closed bag Mostly open bag. I love the Iberian red color. Open rear compartment with my glasses case for idea of size. Close up of the Iberian red Dyneema. The Absolute Shoulder Strap is seriously comfy, and the best shoulder strap I've ever felt on. You have to buy it separately for $30, but the instant I tried it out, I knew it was worth it. Strongly recommend picking one up if you have the need for a good one. That's it. Now just waiting for an opportunity to use it. Hoping my boss gets it together and approves my vacation request for MOA.

Travel gear: Blow-Out Prices Lots of good stuffs in every category. I like travel clothing in general (easy care), but don't like paying the price for the good brands. Just got two Ex-Offico blouses, two undies, and two pair of socks for for under $40 including shipping.
  7. Congrats, Jeff. I wasn't particularly into this when it started, but I admit it's fun, and I do want to play next year.
  8. Ah, you got the last of the Indian Mysore! I didn't Dan's warning on fb that the end was near until it was already gone. That has been my fav of the old bisbee roasts I've tried. Enjoy!
  9. Beautiful knife, Greg! Reposting these as a warning that no one should ever buy them. I came home from work to find the box from Zappos (ordered these on Friday) at my door, and was so happy to put them on my feet. They're wonderfully comfortable and cozy except for the cheaply made, hard, knife-like seam running along the length of your toes and slicing into them. Horrible.
  10. Came home from work sick, and was in the mood for fresh squeezed orange juice. I'm drinking it, but it wasn't worth the effort to make as the oranges I bought last week aren't very tasty.
  11. Finn Comfort Shoes, Quebec Model. Damn, shoes that are okay on my feet are getting expensive!
  12. That's the kind of bag that will get you rolled near my neighborhood.
  13. Not even wat, but why? You took time doing that? To post it? In this thread?
  14. I just got boots, too! Okay, kinda like boots. I'm tired of cold toes.
  15. How did we miss this? Happy birthday! Hope you had a wonderful day.
