  1. Yay to Naaman! I'd toast you, but I'm afraid my plain ole water could be viewed as an offense in this thread. At any rate, a most sincere welcome back to you!
  2. We are such a group of enablers, but I agree.
  3. Thanks, Shelly. Jin, they're yours. PM me your address and I'll get them out sometime in the next week. Dan has diagnosed the problem correctly, but I'll give you a little background. First of all, Phil Collins is to blame, so it's hard to tell what can be done. I had invited the owner of a local business in to speak to the patients and he asked to play a friggin' Phil Collins song as some motivational something or another at the start of his speaking thing. I set up the A2s for him in my group room, test everything out, and it's all working just fine with my music. I leave, go about my biz, he does his thing, and at the end someone moved the speakers back to my office. I think "how nice." I plug them in and they start thump thump thumping horridly. Mind you, they are completely turned off, but just plugging in the plug does that. I have no idea what's wrong with them, but they don't work no more.
  4. Spinning class 6AM, work (the usual) but with my A5s in my office! These things are such an improvement over the A2s, I need to thank the guy who broke them. It was a good day. BTW, if any of you DIY types wants the A2s, they're yours for the price of shipping and a cup of coffee when you see me next.
  5. Happy birthday, Dan. You're getting old!
  6. Someone should get this now: http://cgi.ebay.com/Tom-Bihn-ID-Messenger-Bag-black-steel-wasabi-/140515073341?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item20b759dd3d#ht_618wt_1029
  7. Damn, Mikey. How many watches did you pick up this month? You really have to meet my brother. You two would get along.
  8. Bonnie Raitt early/mid 70s. Really nice.
  9. Just watched Bertuzzi get the Detroit win with a shootout goal in his 1000th game. Pretty cool. He's been on fire lately.
  10. Yup. I also recommend the Sprecher's Ginger soda, and I like their Cream Soda better than others as well.
  11. ^ Stop posting now, or I'll ban you.
  12. Went to spin class again this morning. Today was all sprints, seating and standing. My fat thighs actually got in the way. On an unrelated note, in an effort to control the amount of fur on my bed, I bought my cat a soft cat bed yesterday, and put it at the end of my bed, which is where he likes to sleep when he's not on my pillow and on my head. He quite likes it, but can't seem to figure out that his body should go in it. He's spent at least a couple hours smelling and kneading it, and now I am watching him sleeping, wrapped around it on the outside. Stupid, happy kitty.
  13. Dinny, there are quite a few pics of the co-pilot, some with people carrying it, on the bihn forum in the pictures section. There also seems to be talk about them coming out with a slightly larger version. I don't think it looks like a purse at all. On a side note, I have to agree with the poster on the OBOW forum: many people who post there creep me out quite a bit.
  14. Maybe hang it from one of the side handles?
  15. Yes. There's a store locator on their website. Type in your zip code and see if there is a store near you. She can try some on and see for herself. They're more comfortable than my most comfortable sneakers. I bought my mom their sneakers, and may go get myself a pair as well, though I don't much like white sneakers, and that's all they've got.
  16. Dan quit beer to become a wino. I just bought two pair SAS shoes for myself and one pair for my mother. Most comfortablest shoes in the universe! They make them in Texas, and you can't buy them on the internet or from catalogs as far as I know, or I would have ten pair. Buying shoes is a depressing experience for me. For every 30 or more seemingly basic, comfy pairs of shoes I'll try on, maybe one will be okay, but usually not completely good. Last pair of SAS I bought was in Michigan four years ago, and I wore them nearly every day for a long time. They're still in great shape, except the leather around the ankle strap (they're sandals) is starting to go. I've been looking for another pair for a couple years, but they've only recently come into my area. Can't tell you how happy I am. If any of you are on your feet all day or just desire the most comfortablest shoes in the universe, check SAS out. http://www.sasshoes.com/index.php
  17. Got up at 6, went to spin class, ate an egg white and spinach omelet, and am now drinking some excellent coffee, though all I really want to do is go back to bed.
