Both of those would be dream rigs, and I'll have to see what's possible when the new building is finally open. In the meantime, until I have a bigger space, I'm probably going to have to go for Rek's suggestion of ipod/headphones. Funny, the new position doesn't even kick in for a couple weeks, and am thinking about what I need to do for that?....nooooo....but only one day into the offer, and I'm planning an office system....hmmmm As for today, I'm off to the audiologist for new impressions. UE rejected my first set for not having a base. I used their recommended audiologist, so they might want to reinvestigate to whom they're sending their customers.

Dang, you boys are mean. :'( I basically have about three or four months to plan this rig until the new building opens. Can't have anything too isolating, and can't be large. May just stick with the MacBook Pro, pico, ESW9s, but I don't like the idea of carting my laptop around (I drop things a lot and killed the last one that way), and can't use office computer for music. I don't really...er...need a new rig, but...but...but.............

Nice your started your new job, Reks, even with the unappreciative co-worker. Someone who doesn't like Ornette Coleman... I had a really good day. Signed a contract for a new position at the job I'd been working towards for awhile now. The next three to six months is going to be pretty demanding, and with a whole new schedule, but I'm excited. We've also been building a new office building that is supposedly (uh...yeah) going to be open in August. With that, I'll be getting a rather large office, and will finally be allowed an office rig. Now, what to get.....

Mike, you're right. He didn't intend to mislead; he flat out lied. Not a good beginning, since being banned on head-fi isn't a problem here. Lying, on the other hand, is a big problem for him. In my opinion, you've got at least two strikes against you sticking around (I'm being generous), but suggest you think carefully about posting bs here again.

HardHeadCase (your head-fi name before you were banned), not everyone here is anti-RSA, including me (I like some amps, don't like others, and don't care one way or the other about the rest), but like others have said, you can like whatever it is you like, but if you come in here posting without reading around first, and then throw crap back at folks for not liking the response you're getting, you're a fool at best. If you don't like it and then start whining that you're afraid to post, go back to head-fi....oh wait....you can't.....

Hope all the dads here are being spoiled by their families and having a great day, and I hope new daddy Nate gets at least a little sleep as a bonus present

Woke up, did nothing. Came to work, did some more nothing. Opened an envelope and learned I'd gotten a pretty sweet raise two pay periods ago, but since I'm not great at paying attention to this sort of thing, and no one told me, I had no idea. I feel kinda bad because I've been talking and meeting with my boss and others re near future changes with whatever the heck it is that I do, and, obviously, never thanked him, and it was certainly a thank-worthy raise. I'm also afraid it was a mistake, since it's my third nice raise since last November, and I don't even have a formal position. Ah well. I'm still at work, doing nothing. Nice day all the way around.

Congrats! I spent just enough time with this amp at CanJam to both wish I'd spent more and be glad that I didn't.

The only comfort issues I had was that they were heavy. Your head must be gigantic if they're clamping.

X2. This is one of the more intense ones I've seen. I love storms, and am used to lightning storms (Florida is the lightning capitol of the world, beating out Rwanda a couple years back), but the lightning in this one is even a bit scary and too close for me....eeek.
