I just found out that the pico slim will be present at CanJam. I will definitely be giving that a listen. Is it small enough to slip into my pocket with no one noticing?
I already know I don't want to listen to the Balancing Act, though I probably will. It already tempted me last two hearings. Combine that with the HD800s and I sure I'll be in trouble. I have nothing left to sell, and lord knows I can't afford another binge like what happened after last year's CanJam, though I regret nothing.
What kind of rabbits?
I'm only going to be at the meet on Saturday, and as proved true in nearly every meet, you only get to really listen to a few things.
Things I don't want to miss:
The HeadRoom/Sennheiser room
Symth demo - I missed it last year by being either too busy or lazy to wait in line
Frank Cooter's creations whatever they may be
Ironbut's rig - I just loved it in Mayberry
New Shure headphones - just curious
909's rig - I've heard L3000 with that amp, curious about the source
jp11801's new toys
Since I'm not looking to get anything new this year (so I say now), I'm not going to be tempting myself too much.
What's on your lists of must hear?
I haven't bought music in a long time, but in anticipation of my bhse's homecoming, I picked up:
John Adam - American Elegies
Philip Glass - Of Beauty & Light Box Set
Osvaldo Golijov - The Dreams and Prayers of Isaac The Blind
Ray LaMontagne - Till the Sun Turns Black
Kronos Quartet - 25 Years: Retrospective
Zakk Wylde's Black Label Society - Kings of Damnation: Era 1998-2004
Fun.
I just stuck the list of head-casers attending into asr's thread-starting post for easy access. I'm guess that even if you eliminated four or five non-regulars from the list, it's still close to half of the people who are registered so far for the meet in total.
I was just following the posts in this thread. I thought Grahame said he couldn't come. That's great news if he can. I also seemed to have missed thatompampguy with the local scenery report. I think posting at least once is necessary to make the list, as well as not being in the basement.

Am I missing anyone? This this is going to b a great party.
Congrats to you! What size did you get? I've never been able to get a pair to fit me well enough to get a sense of how they really sound. I'd need a small, and so far, have only had the chance to try mediums. They're huge!
As soon as I get stuff organized (happens only every year or two), I find myself rummaging around and looking for random and not so random things 'til everything is out and about again all over my home. If I had kids, I know things would need to change, but since I don't, I like my messes.
What a great game that was! Ovechkin and Crosby hat tricks, great hitting, really good team positioning, especially Caps offensive reads (Caps didn't seem to have it last game), and some fancy, dancy stuff from Ovechkin and Varlamov. Fun fun.
