I think you underestimate Ward, but the Penguins looked good. The Blackhawks looked good tonight, too, but the Wings will win this series. They looked much better during the second period, and even most of the third, and that OT goal was textbook perfect.

Chris, sorry for your loss, though it's good that you're able to make the trip to be with your family.

Mike, I'm just glad the surgery went well. I know you'd been working with an excellent surgeon, but there's always a possibility for something to go wrong. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery.

Thanks guys, but I don't really need to get a pair at the meet, but would like to try them out with a sampling of amps/sources just to see what they can do. I won't have that ability once home. Thinking about it a little more, I almost prefer to having mine shipped, rather than trying to fit the box in safely in what limited luggage I hope to bring.

Well, I think that there might be some prioritizing going on, mostly thinking this year's CanJam organizers should be able to get their theirs, even if they didn't order until a bit later. I'm maybe thinking some head-fi mods that might be at CanJam will be on that list. Otherwise, I do think that the first people who ordered, who are also at CanJam on Saturday morning, should get theirs. I'm probably too late for that, but maybe not. Probably on the tail end if at all. If I don't get mine, that's okay, but it would it would be really nice to walk about and try them out with some different rigs. I'll maybe do some borrowing if needs be.

What the hell was I thinking by starting this thread? I'm not going to post any more updates as it's pretty safe to conclude most people are arriving some time Friday, 99% of those who will be there in time want to hang out on Friday night wherever everyone else is, and many people will help out if needed, except Al, who probably still will if the universe needs protecting......oh.....and postjack is dancing on Friday night.

Well, I was slow in getting my order in (about 2:30PM), and Todd said he'd sold around 50 at that time. I'm hoping to pick mine up at CanJam as well, but I think I'm at the end of that line.

It was a great game. I missed the last goal when my stream cut out, but really good hockey on both sides, though could you believe the poor calls? WTF with the refs?

I don't know what John and the guys have already got in place, but if it hadn't been for Mike's family manning the registration tables, we would have needed volunteers. Outside of helping set things up, we also needed folks to just help out with the raffle stuff, badges, t-shirts, etc. I don't know if anyone's help is needed, but I'm figuring that if enough of us offer, no one would have to do anything for more than an hour. Organizing committee, hope I'm not overstepping anything by doing this. I know you guys probably have it well under control.

Maybe to help coordinate things: I'll be in on Thurs, but that's just to rest up for Friday, since I'll be leaving my house at 4:30AM. I'll be available to help out with whatever's needed on Friday. Aren't they the gals that like to have regular house parties and educational seminars and whatnot along with their substantial web business? You should look at the designs of the popular glass ones for glazing suggestions. People buy them as gifts based on how unique and "pretty" they are.
