Good luck on the apartment search, Colin. All the cheap, burned out (literally) neighborhoods I used to live in are now for millionaires. Why I didn't, like all my smart friends, homestead a building back in those days is beyond me. One of my life's very few regrets. I'm keeping both phones because I'm lazy and I can. I have a Blackjack for my work phone, but may just switch that out to my iphone since we use AT&T, or I may just keep a backup phone.

I've been thinking about all the closed headphones I've heard and almost liked. I like the CD3000 minus the treble hurt, but think the D5000 is a good all-rounder. I didn't like the 2000 at all, and have never heard the 7000. All that hype about the modded D5000 being better or close to R10s is utter crap, but they are a decent headphone. I don't have enough experience with the AT woodies to comment. I'd wait til CanJam, and try some things out.

Which it was. Thanks, Ken. I gave Walgreens my phone number on the long shot that my phone might turn up, and I got a call about 4:30 this afternoon. Apparently a kid (I have no idea how old) showed up at home with my phone and told his mother he found it at Walgreens, so she dragged him there to bring it back. I have no idea who she is, or I most certainly would have given her a reward. That doesn't happen much these days, and this Walgreens is not in a good neighborhood. Anyone want to buy a gently used 16g 3G iphone?

Maybe we should get a hc room in a nearby hotel. A little escape......?

I fell asleep in mine again last night. I forgot I had them in as I was in that half-awake state where the music was all there was. They are extremely comfortable after the first min of feeling weird after you put them in.

Sucky financial day. Found out my dead water heater, two months out of warranty, can't be repaired. Lost three $60 bus passes for work and had to cough up the bucks to replace. Bought new tires. Set my iphone down on the counter at Walgreens when I was swiping my debit card, reached to pick it up and it was gone. Bought a new phone and case for 400 freaking dollars. Took a friend out to dinner at a once good Japanese restaurant to have a very bad $80 meal and was forced to listen to a singer so bad he was a parody of a parody, who went by the name Neil Zirconia, and took himself very seriously as did, most strangely, the other diners. Two weeks ago I was thrilled with a very nice little bonus from work, and was looking forward to blowing it in Chicago. That's gone now.

I went from UE11s to JH13s. The UE11s were easy to sell. If you don't like the 13s, which I seriously can't imagine, you should be able to sell them for at least $800.

Don't get the 5s. You're just throwing money away. Get the 13s or 16s and just be done with things. I have zero desire to investigate new headphones since getting these.

I had one of those days where I just didn't get anything done I should have done. I had five individual sessions with patients, did two groups, and didn't document one bit of it. I just stared at the computer screen like it was the enemy, then signed up for a Greek cooking class at a culinary school in West Palm Beach. I'll be doing today's work tomorrow.
