Yeah I dunno we'll see. I don't mind that its ugly and has bubbles in it. What I do mind is I trapped some cloth fibers from the cloth that the iphone comes with underneath the front piece so it shows up over the screen which is annoying. I should have been not impatient and retarded and watched a few videos and not tried reapplying it several times. But I was in my "Well I understand the theory and I've done things like this before" mindset and totally fucked it up. Though to be fair I don't see how its possible to do the backpart perfectly. Though I should probably just consult videos regarding that (I watched some front applying videos after the fact).

Actually I've seen the inside of Voltron's amp (Sat by his side while he fixed Al's amp and worked on Neil's was an all night session) and it looks infinitely more organized than any of Elephas's pictures. Neil's looked better than those pics but not as nice as Al's ;p Wouldn't say that is representative of the man's average amp, but he is capable of making something that doesn't look like a glob.

He said 3k for the initial 10 run and 3.5k afterwards. He went over tubes too with me but I didn't really take notes in that area. He said it will have 1 4 pin 1 dual-3pin 1 unbalanced headphone outs. balanced in and out and some unbalanced ins and outs. More maybe too I forget.

I have the feeling he isn't leaving Bulgaria until the DAC is ready and that he didn't take my unit with him to Bulgaria. Ahwell.

Pretty sure Filburt is hoarding those secrets especially the special druidic chants and animal sacrifices needed to make a ~300-500 dollar DAC sound superior to the ~1k Benchmark DAC. Though in all seriousness, I have on good authority that the man and another man are designing their own DAC and details for that DAC (Which probably will incorporate some of what goes into his modded DACs of yesterweek) will be forthcoming.
