  1. That's some fucked up shit re: boilingfrog.
  2. Yeah you just need like quite a few people to start with where you can distribute cost to make this anywhere near effective. That is if he were willing to accept outside control in the first place (Which is kinda doubtful without significant leverage). I am happy to participate in such an effort if one begins, but yeah I think we have to wait for outrage to hit critical mass to the point where such a group/effort coalescences almost on its own. Or like just need 1 person with a stake in the matter pissed off enough to go the extra hundred miles. I'm not that person yet ;p... I still have some hope something might ship this week. Next week? Who knows. Yeah pretty much typical bullshit. So much for "If I say it'll ship, it'll ship." How goes your own fight Rob N?
  3. Dan, I had many of our shipments picked up and relabeled for USPS Priority and Express Mail last night. Your amp is much larger and more valuable than what we can ship with USPS. It will be going out FedEx for sure in any event. It will be delivered to the FedEx facility and be shipped by tomorrow, or I will personally fly it out to you. Those are good tips Monkey. I paid with credit card but only 500 dollars as I bought the amp second hand so the bulk of the amp's value did not change hands between me and mikhail. I'll look into the rest if he does roll this week.
  4. Thanks for shedding some light Tyrion. Yeah.. basically without someone in Colorado without experience/expertise in the matter I am very hesitant to move forward unless as an absolutely last resort and even then given how tricky collection would be I just don't know if it is even worth pursuing unless I have enough funds to see it through and am feeling especially vindicative.
  5. Yeah I dunno. As far as lawsuits go I have no idea with regards to feasibility. My impression is that it isn't very feasible. The "it'll ship tomorrow" strategy really works indefinitely as my only leverage to get him to ship is to not pay him and you can see how well that's worked out so far
  6. Yeah my response was.. "What happened to by tonight?"
  7. Dan, I'll make sure it is in FedEx's hands by tomorrow. We had seven boxes going out and it's just taken a while for these to be processed. -
  8. Nod.. I'll look into it today after work inform him of my intent tonight through email if there's been no real movement make the arrangements.
  9. Yeah... I mean this is the same sort of stalling stuff that happened every week the last two months. The main change as visible to me is that he has it packed and it isn't just I'll mail it out today.. oh nope tomorrow oh nope tomorrow. Ohwell whatever this is still some sort of progress I guess. I was thinking about having them picked up myself from Fedex, but I can't imagine that he will be forthcoming with the facilities address nor am I sure they will hand it over to the pickup peeps.
  10. Dan, It should be in their hands by tonight. I'll be back shortly, will update you. - Situation is still the same. Here's to hoping this happens.
  11. Thanks I appreciate it sir! First things first though.. come to meeeee amp!
  12. Yeah. That's hopefully the plan if its filth inside Fingers crossed if the wallet can handle it. I totally wish I had taken some inside pics before it went out or at least looked inside, but ignorance was bliss I guess I'm definitely opening it up as soon as I get it back.
  13. Ah you've seen the interior? That isn't very heartening, but ohwell it's mine.
  14. That was a hypothetical situation. But this solid state amp was 15.6k new. I paid closer to 5 but more than 5.

  16. No word.. hopefully the snow isn't an issue today!
  17. Yeah Filburt tells me that 32 bit doesn't really mean anything at the moment cept for things with 32 bit word length, but the SNR performance is at 135 which is a performance increase from the 24 bit version which was at like 12X or something. Plus it consumes less power.
  18. No go for today. He says it's a snow day and so things were shut down. I talked to asr and he said it did snow a lot today so.. whatevs.
  19. Well he isn't complaining to me about money for shipping. He just wants to be paid when he ships or before he ships. That he needs money for shipping I think is just a conjecture at this point.
  20. Very handsome congrats!
  21. Ah yeah that's mostly my line of thinking too.
  22. I think they are taking the view if Tom and others including I wait longer then we get delivered something satisfactory. This may be true, but my faith has been shakened.
  23. Wow beautiful. Definitely worth every penny of the asking price.
  24. Yeah he did. At least from what he had told me in the past.
