  1. Hrm maybe I should figure out my upgrade date.
  2. Hrm I should figure out something to do with the supply you sent me.. or send it back to you.
  3. I think that's the plan, but he is really busy right now. I think the singlepower stuff is eating up all his free time.
  4. Haha you bastard! Better than the dynahi? I'd love to hear your fostex t50 v1
  5. Unfortunately to get the full benefit of the Uber Controller you need boards designed around it since the microcontrollers which deal with current sensing/temperature sensing are located in our case on our version of the Dynafet boards. This turned out to be a cheaper option then not having them on the boards. Of course if you dont want the fancy display/auto shut off features related to current sensing/temperature sensing then you'll be fine putting one of these + the input board in any amp really.
  6. Me neither.. shrug. It's not my favorite genre, but I play it now and then for a change of pace. I think in general I like old Snoop Dogg and some Tupac. Outkast... random crap all decent now and then.
  7. Yeah well I think the limiting reagent wasn't really lack of willingness but more timing (The micro-controller decision came about this week after the dynahi "compatible" boards were long ordered) + lack of real estate while keeping the boards dynahi board swappable.. this is re: feature parity.
  8. Yeah I think that's the plan.
  9. So be forewarned there are at least a couple people going with j4cbo's more smd oriented boards besides the people in the j4cbo group build.. so that may cut into the passive parts by a bit I apologize, but it kind of became necessary with our layout and the need to have a microcontroller on the board for the temperature/current sensing stuff.
  10. how big are these centipedes we talkin bout?
  11. I bet hawaii has some fucked up bugs too.. man that giant water bug is not cool.. aren't like the most gigantic bugs supposed to be like all friendly and harmless...
  12. California wtf? I never done seen that shit. Never seen anything better than like 2 inches.
  13. [ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dobsonfly]Dobsonfly - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame] Damn the females get just as big as the males... and even the larva have some sort of horrible painful bite and get 2-3 inches long. Beware going into the water sir!
  14. Damn I wonder how big the females get.. like a 3-5 inch flying insect with a painful bite? Not acceptable.
  15. Holy shit 5 inches and flies? I hope those don't swarm. I am very glad you didn't incur its wrath.
  16. Holy fuck.. that looks ginormous.. how big is that shit? Wait but arent you used to defeating camel spiders and shit though?
  17. Meh. Repeated exactly what I said 2.5 months ago. GG.
  18. Ah yeah True Sound - Bay Area High End Audio Repair Service by Nick Gowan true sound is Foo_me's repair guy.
  19. Should talk to min the guy who fixed his zanden is based in campbell.
  20. No but I want some. Hey thanks a lot btw for sending out my grover RCAs got them yesterday! (Probably earlier but didn't check my mail until yesterday).
  21. Pfft they don't even have some Nazi AD1s
  22. Nice. I thought the amp at CanJam was already pretty impressive. It will be interesting to see what its like on completion.. of course anything over 2k is pretty damn unaffordable to me these days
  23. Yeah I've had it before.. oh its closed now? I managed to go through 2.5 before giving up. I felt it was pointless to continue since like the spiciness wasn't what killed me, I simply was full. Like the record holder was like 12 burgers or something and while I'm pretty good at eating a ton of crap.. I doubt I could really eat more than 4.
  24. Those aren't the normal boards. He is doing another design that has more SMD parts and is a bit smaller and laid out to ensure we can achieve the 3u layout. The prototype boards are essentially the final boards. Unless you happen to want our version.
