  1. http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pPx9B-HzYy0covm0CZGJUEg&hl=en Please check this spreadsheet and reconfirm the # of boards that you are allocated to on here and confirm whether you want the dynahi compatible boards or the j4cbo build boards. The difference between the two is the j4cbo boards are slightly smaller and not compatible in most dynahi builds they are more smd oriented and will have a microcontroller for various temperature/current sensing features and possibly some others as well. We will be doing two separate board orders one for each group. The j4cbo board group is: Me/j4cbo/atothex/morphsci/pfkman23/naamanf/digger945. The rest are marked down as dynahi compatible people. Let me know! Then it will be time to collect money and get boards going.
  2. Maybe he is UNDEAD.
  3. Yeah pictures would be key Pfft dac crazy... there is no such thing.
  4. I don't know that any of the key people actually went to Berkeley. I think they just live there, but you guys do pump out some good nerds sure.
  5. Nod well its a steal either way.
  6. Wow that is a steal esp if they have the red drivers.
  7. Haha.. well it's somewhat moot since god knows when it'll be released ;p We might see it in 5 years.
  8. I heard ~15k for the dac alone.. I have to assume the transport is around there as well.
  9. Well there's a very incestuous relationship between Berkeley Audio and Spectral.. and based on my conversations with where I bought my first SDR-2000 (Their oldest retailer) the Spectral SDR-5000 will be a cost no object take on what they learned from the Berkeley Audio DAC. Fully discrete et all.
  10. AD18 eh? Probably AD1853.. that was Filburt's hypothesis. Also used in Spectral (Who's designer Keith Johnson also had a hand with the Berkeley Audio dac since those are his old co-people from PacMicro) SDR-4000 and the Benchmark DAC-1
  11. That is pretty fearsome.
  12. If there's a consensus I don't mind going with someone else. Just let me know, but really I don't have the experience or knowledge to like figure out the best peeps to go with myself.
  13. Not sure about the Credo but as long as you don't make sure the beads aren't oversaturated toooo badly when they go into the humidor/cooler then they'll do a good job of keeping things at the rated humidity level. Like if you get 65 percent and throw them into your container for a day and then check it clocking in at 67 percent then that's probably fine as eventually it'll even down to 65 and then last for like 6 months without needing you to add more water.
  14. I dunno... I just use an igloo cooler for my storage. Tuperware for on the move situations. I maintain humidity with these: Heartfelt Industries, Heartfelt Cigar Humidor Humidity Beads, Heartfelt Beads, Humidors, Quality Cigar Accessories and distilled water. It's what my cigar connect rolls with and has served me well. It's not as sexy as a nice looking humidor, but it is functional/cheap/effective. I heard the humidity beads are what they used to use in museums until some enterprising cigar person realized they could be applied to cigars
  15. I like foobar over itunes primarily because it is incredibly light weight and makes itunes (for windows anyways) feel incredibly bloated in comparison. Also that it does everything I want without need of downloading/installing/configuring any additional plugins. Moreover stock, which is how I run it, is stripped down while preserving a necessary feature set that is still intuitively accessible. Anyway, for me, it isn't just because its tweaky and fixes kmixer.
  16. Yup emu 0404 usb... i wouldn't bother with the rest. I have no problems in vista64
  17. Kaki King - until we felt red
  18. Hrm does the rear output say headphone output? Based on the specs and squinting I'd guess it says through output.. like a loop out perhaps?
  19. Kaki King - Dreaming of Revenge
  20. De La Soul - The Grind Date
  21. Partagas SD 4... stupid butane lighter wont work :/
  22. Doping Panda - Decadence
  23. Ah natch.
  24. So its not 4 fets at 75mA for a total of 300mA? I thought that's what "For a total power supply of 300ma at 60 volts which is 18 watts." means.
