That boil looks good. Potatoes, corn, and sausage. Am I just not seeing it, or did you not throw in heads of garlic as well? I don't think I am the only one who is a fan of crawfish boiled garlic.

Someone has listed an SR-OMEGA on EBay for £5900. Is that seriously the going rate, because it feels crazy.

That is cool looking. Cheaper than the one I want, but wont spend the money one. http://www.lumens.com/Eco-Task-41006-LED-Table-Lamp-by-ET2/uu427059/product I say buy it and see what you think. If you don't like it you are only out return shipping. Just make sure to keep the box. Shipping is free so they wont deduct that cost from your refund if you should decide to send it back.

While I like the rosewood better, I would buy the Rev2.2? if I was to get another pair. I really like the angled connectors. The plugs would bump into my shoulders when I turned my head to the side. The LCD-3 did not have that problem.

Today I feel better than I have in a few months. I had my final exam for the semester, and I passed. Now we will see If my boss gives me my job back for the summer, or if I just spend it catching up on music listening and video games. Neither option bothers me.

I used that setup to run apQualizr when I had the SR-507. I could not use those headphones without EQ. Haven't used it since I sold the 507, but maybe I will download TB Isone so I can see what it is about. I wouldn't mind having a simple cross feed for some of my music, but TB Isone looks like it may do more processing than I am looking for.

Have you tried running it through Soundflower and AU lab?

Very saddened when I heard the news.

I picked up the books. Hope to have some time with them this summer.

I am going to have to disagree with you a bit. This would in no way replace the Realiser. My assumption is that this device intends to give your headphones Sigma like presentation. That would be very cool, but is no like the Realiser. As you could guess I do own one. I use it 99% of the time for movies and TV. It does a fantastic job of recreating surround sound. Sure it works for stereo too, but like you I also like the sound of my Omega2. If I use the Realiser, I lose that. This device would be cool because it should retain the headphones natural sound signature. I wouldn't buy one. Sure I would like to try it out, but it's use is too limiting. I am not an expert on audio, so I apologize if any of the information I provided is incorrect. As for your statement about the Realiser and HF, sillysally imidiatly come to mind. I would block him, but then I would miss all of the crazy that comes from his mouth.

I watched season one of Game of Thrones last week. Damn that show is good. Now I have to find a way to watch season two.

I kept score for little league basket ball games as my community service. It was years ago, but I think I got cought going 118 mph in a 60. Not the worst punishment I suppose. I learned my lessen, and now keep it to a reasonable speed.

crappyjones123 I am sorry to hear about the lens, that is a tragedy. I like photography, but I don't think I will ever invest enough in it to buy a proper Leica. The last few days have been decent to me. Yesterday did start with a needle in the arm, but everything can't be perfect. Another year, another TB test. Tomorrow I will have it checked, but I can confidently say I do not have TB. Anyone want to let me breath on them consistently for a few weeks to prove it. After that I went by the hospital I have been working at this semester to return my security badge. Lets be honest, I only did that to get my $10 deposit back. If getting $10 dollars. Then it was off to the post office. I had to mail back the Fuji X100 I just got (defective). Next was lunch at a Kosher Deli with my sister and grandmother. The Rubin was definitely the highlight of the day. After I got home I took the dog for a walk around the neighborhood for about an hour. Not much must have happend after that, because I don't remember any of it. Today I went to class and took the HESI standardized test for 2 hours; that was not fun. I passed, but I can't say I was expecting anything else. I spent the rest of the day not studying for my final, which is in 6 days. Now it is SR-007 and Billy Joel time. If I decide to get up I may add beer to the picture.

The Official Head-Case Photography Thread.

I was thinking about buying the s95 or s100, but was not sure which one. I then started looking at the X10, and somehow ended up buying the X100. The LX-5 looks interesting as well. If I had some extra cash I might buy a LX-5 to use as a secondary travel camera. It would be nice to have a zoom. I would go with the X10, but all the problems I read about it having scared me off. -
Have you heard this Smyth Research Realiser?
TruBrew replied to Spychedelic Whale's topic in Headphones
I had that idea a while back and posted it on HF. Either people didn't understand what I was trying to do, or didn't know why I would want to do it. Basically I am saying it didn't go over well, if I remember correctly. It still seems like a cool idea to me, so let me know if you here more about it. Obviously their would be no need for measurements at different angles, because it would all be the same. I do agree that Smyth's HDMI implementation is odd. I understand why they did it, but I am having trouble grasping how many people could actually make use of it. They don't want to pay for the rights to DD/DTS. I think the rationale is so that it never gets outdated. I am sure it also keeps costs down a little. Because of their decision the HDMI only accepts PCM. The problem is, no stand alone HDMI decoder unit exists. They have created a market for a product so small, no one will fill it. The PS3, and Oppo players I know will do it. I can also set my Mac to do it, but things like cable boxes, DVD players, Xbox360s are unusable. I don't get it. This is the way I have mine set up. PS3/Mac Mini/ Xbox360(Stereo PCM) > DVDO edge > Realiser. The Edge is perfect because it takes care of all my video processing needs, but doesn't do audio. The PS# and Mac Mini are set to output Multi channel PCM over HDMI. The 360 is unfortunately stuck at stereo for PCM output. I don't use it much, so I don't think it is worth the cost and clutter of adding a pre/pro and 6 analog cables. My apologies. I just read through an email I received while back from Lorr, and I made a mistake on my last post. The Mix Down is not a System Parameter, so not saved under the "!" button. It is a Preset Parameter, so you save it my pressing "Menu" > "P1" etc.
